some guy saod that he was getting paid 10pp for these by some high lvl well buddy you were gettting ripped.. on povar i have seen these go for at least 100pp and sometimes 250pp that is what you make the fleeting quiver with and as long as the market is good on the quivers the moarket is good on these pelts.......
Ok, all you. Check out the posts under the tailoring discussions for fleeting quivers....The HQ LION skins are a very rare drop (trust me, my partners and I have gotten 1 out of about 80 kills), and drop almost exclusively off of Highland Lions. People will pay anywhere from 20 - 200 pp per pelt, depending on how much they need one. The HQ CAT skins are nowhere near as rare, and won't bring as high a price.
umm thats the craziest thing i have ever heard HQ pelts do NOT go for anything over 10pp... u can get em off these lions at level 8 at approx .5/per lion... i wish i got 100pp from these things though!
I'm getting going in tailoring, and know what the various quality Cat Pelts are for, but what are these Lion Skins used for? I've picked up a couple today and would appreciate any hints as to what I could turn them into.
The guys are nice because they drop cat pelts which are important in crafting meduim sized tailored armor. Not too tough to kill although druids may be surprised when these guys attack since we druids are unaccostomed to being attacked by animals.
Lions always seem to attack me while I'm in the middle of killing something else. They're so easy to my lvl 12 druid that I generally ignore them until I'm finished killing off whatever I'm meleeing against before finishing them off, but sometimes if I find myself pretty low on HP after a tough battle I'll just cast snare on them and either run to the guards or run away and gate.
i found them easy (as a 9 monk) they only hit a couple of time for 4 to 5 and an occasional big hit like 18 or so, the only trouble with them is they are rare and they tend to attack you instead of you finding and attacking them
Mr. Mage must be awfully buff; even as a 9th level ranger, I find tanking these to be a challenge. They hit fast and often for up to 18 or so, stun a lot, and have a nasty tendency to attract feline allies. If you're thinking of tanking them at levels 7-9 try it near some guards first.
I'm a level 9 mage and I'll get 2 spells off before they reach me which brings them down about half then let my pet do the rest while i med and regain the mana i lost. They're easy, I bet i could even tank 1.
Just an FYI that there is a lion spawn point at the bend in the canyon as you enter WK from QH. It is apparently a rare spawn, but one did spawn just as I turned the corner, and hit me in the back before I knew he was there.
Trust me on this (Im the PR rep for the secret master tailors guild) High Quality cat pelts are worth anywhere from 2-5pp all there good for is reinforced leather and it only sells for about 10pp a piece, so paying anymore than the price stated above and the tailor isnt making any money. I only tell you this because id much rather you sell the pelt to a tailor and make a friend than him laugh at you and you end up selling it to a merchant for a couple of gold
