Drops totemic armor??? Totemic is quest armor, no where else have I EVER heard of a mob dropping completed pieces of ANY classes quest armor, much less totemic... I'd have to see it to believe it.

I was thinking the same thing, dude. " A Totemic BP???? " . So I was thinking, well someone gave it to him.....but it was after the patch that denied that very thing. Then I come here and see the other posts. I'm trying to understand the logic behind it seeing as how Totemic is Shaman cultural and is quested for just like Lambent, Crafted and Ivy. I mean, are there other MOBS out there that drop these? Why is this guy so special? Is it because that some of the quest items for Totemic are hard to find (ie Grizzleknot Bark off the super-de-dooper rare spawn in SK)? If that's the case, i think I can understand.
But to ease your curiousity a bit, yes. Me and some friends killed this bad boy last night, and yes there was a Totemic BP on it. So it does definatly drop Totemic.....and other interesting stuff. Chrystalized Sulfer.....anyone know what that's for?

I saw this guy while camping Cynthia, I knew he dropped Totemic Armor, so I got a high level Shaman and Necromancer to kill him for me ( I was 35 and he was red ) he dropped Totemic Gauntlets which was somewhat of a disapointment, because I already had Splitpaw Hide Gloves and we Troll Shamans need all the Wisdom we can get.

Killed this guy yesterday with a shammy both of us lvl 44 and had him bite the dust in about 20 mins. stacked Drifting Death with the shammys VoS. Lots o hps! dropped Totemic BP.

Ok, today me and a necro friend were runnin low on cash so decided to go kill HG's in Rathe...great idea btw. Anyways, I'm a lvl 31 SK, and he's a 49 necro. Took about 5 minutes of fighting, Me and the Necro pet meleeing, and the Necro DOTing, and lifetapping. Both me and the pet were down to about 10% life when he hit his run stage. Anyways, dropped Totemic Bracers. It was great fun tho, wouldn't wanna do it again tho :)

Why not man? Battles like those where your not sure how it's gonna turn out... especially with nice insentive (such as loot) are great fun, and are the highlight of the game. It gets your blood pumping man.

/AGREE...nothin better then those battles that get hairy and death is just barley escaped. Especially when everyone in the group is already planning the CR and you pulll it off :)

Was holding Hasten for a guy by the Feerrott zone when I hear the dreadful HG/Clops noise, and see "Oculys Ogrefriend hits YOU for 119 points of damage!" *ouch*... so I laid a snare on him and ran like the ******* for the zone, shouted out for help in the zone and after about 15 mins of fighting me: a 41 ranger, a 52 shaman and a 42 druid managed to kill him.. he dropped a bunch of plat, and totemic gauntlets. Was tombstone to me, so he's at least 44.

Oculys spawns near the bandit camp in the Cyc area of RM. Very fast, very deadly. Hits for 100+ and seems to have a natural haste, as he was hitting me so fast I couldn't get a snare off and had to run like a little girl :)

Kited him yesterday, lvl 47 druid, took over an hour with a lvl 34 necro pumping all his mana into me :)

This guy can't outrun sow. I was fighting another clops and he joined in. I managed to race away and gate to safety.

He was indeed in the cyc area. He was standing exactly where he was in the picutre above and having a grand old time killing the Bandits that keept spawning until some group came over and waxed him good. He dropped the Totemic Boots that time.

Me and a lvl 51 necro got him last night...he has plenty of HP (6000-7000) or so. He dropped me a Totemic Helm and 4pp. Saved me the time to get the Helm though :)

being a shaman in rath, when i heard he was out i came running
of course he was red to me, at 35th, and i just sat there watching him
then i heard a call for a group forming to kill him. and I ran over to watch.
the group was a 46th paly and 2 40+ lvl casters, i said hello and got the job
as healer. off we went. it was a tough battle. the paly took a lot of damage even with an ac near 800. Mr orgefriend tends to hit for 100+ no mater who you are. one caster went oom and the other finished him off seconds later
after it was over, we reviewed the fight. the paly did 500+ in damage, and and needed 900+ in heals to end the fight at 2 bubs left. two pets did 200 or so in damage. the one caster did 2000+ to him, but the wizard did a reported 5000 to him. the loot a few plat, a rune for a 44th or 49th lvl pet spell and one totemic bracer.
he did move fast and with that many htps i don;t think anyone is going to kite him :) he got 3 attacks around, i think. he was getting debuffed so he may get more. the servers had been upgraded that day and it took about 4-6 hours of cyclop killings to bring him out. after he came out there was a bunch of cyclops running around at least twice as many as before

Anyone have any info on this guy? Obviously higher lvl that Tarskukk, but is he as fast? Tarskukk is faster than my SoW unsnared :(

i killed him last night , one tough SoB .
i kited him for 40minutes on LoM , he is not as fast as sow unsnared , rather slow for a named mob . Hits very Hard also around 130s , just be safe killing him , hes one NASTY clops ! ! !
