Ireblind Imp

a rare creature

Uploaded November 23rd, 2010 by __DEL__1591980274439

In the Plane of Fear: Has an AE poison proc. Spawns from the corpse of the indifferent Enraged Imp.

In Fear Itself: Note: For all map points of nameds in Fear Itself (for "thuledream.txt" map files), see this quest entry. PHs are "an enraged scareling" on and around the big hill in the eastern part of the zone (known to spawn near Quest NPC Hildran Heartguard). It hits for a max ~11,000 and spawns adds called "Essence of Rage".

All in all, as others have mentioned: He's a pretty quick and clean drop. The real problem is the adds. Long as you can keep the adds under control: He's fairly easy to drop. 92 shm/war with tank and cleric merc had ZERO issues. Tank merc on Named, War on Adds. Easy and simple.

Spawn loc 725, -1125, an enraged scareling or named, spawn cycle 14 minutes. The mob does a clockwise circle around the building nearby.

Easy mob. First time I did like here said: Burn him down and mezz to avoid many adds. But its completely wrong.

75% - 5 adds
50% - 5 adds
25% - 5 adds

regardless how fast you are. Adds are easy but if you have many then they can be critical. If you are not Ubah and only HoT Tier3 group geared, do like Tobynn sad (thanks) and after every wave dispatch all adds and keep healing up. If you debuff imp fully then it is not a big problem to let him beat you.

One of his adds dropped and he dropped the usual stuff.

I love fighting this guy. So much loot to go through after everything is dead. Sometimes you get his little adds to drop a bunch of fireflash wrist bands:)

Killed it with 90 shaman/monk both with T4 gear and T5 mercs (1 tank and 1 healer). Basically managed by burning as hard as I could the whole fight, ended up with probably 15 adds in the end, everyone died but shaman whos dots finnished the work (and thank god for the totem aa :P)

He occasionally throws out a stun, approx 9-10 sec duration - Seemed to be random what target he picked, both my monk and shaman got stunned a couple of times (seperate occasions) throughout the fight.

Adds do not seem to despawn after you kill him, they've been up approx 10 hours now and counting, so assuming they stay until someone kills them or server goes down, all piled up where I left them. Also ran into some other of the "same" adds near a wall, guessing that means someone wiped on him before I killed it.

Seems this mob has been over-hyped; its not as fearsome as some would claim it to be. The adds pop in waves, with 5 Essence of Rage appearing all at once. The adds have tiny hitpoints and are easily dispatched very quick -- kill the adds, then get back on the Ireblind. Killed him boxing Beast, Druid, tank merc, cleric merc. Only saw 3 waves of adds. Neither crowd control nor a high-dps burn is required to off this guy.

Pops near Hildran Heartguard. PH is "an enraged scareling" that roams nearby.

The Ireblind Imp stuned and had Essence of Rage adds just like the one in plane of fear. The adds are semi low HP and seem to pop on a timer.
