Clear the undead around the cave entrance that leads to the plane of Fear (about 6 to 8 mobs). And kill, at least, one of the undead in the front section of the cave.

Pull Blackbone to the cave and have your party all up against a wall, you should then only move slightly as the stun/pushback is cast.
Magic resist?

If your magic resists are over 650 does this help?

There is an alcove in the zone wall at in-game /loc -1122, +1818. Instead of pushing me all over the place, when his knockback hit, I just kinda vibrated in place instead of haring off attracting adds. Clear the wolves around the slope area of the alcove , pull nearest undead to your left from this alcove.

The PH's are the Blackened Spirit and Bloodied Skeleton, the two PH's are very close to above loc. Most nameds in this zone have two PH's, both named the same (ie 2 Decayed Gorilla for Festerback), but this mob has two different models (one spectre and one red skelly) that can pop from the same PH spots. Still only two PH's to keep down .
Easy Named

Killed easily with a 88 mage solo with merc
Forget the merc tank...

After several unsuccessful tries boxing him using a merc tank (merc was getting pushed all over the place and would get 5-7 adds), I ended up taking this mob down essentially solo with a lvl90 t4 group geared sham.

Initially cleared the three wolves to the east and two skeletons to the west. Pulled Blackbone to the south wall at his spawn point and tanked him there. Druid with cleric merc got pushed oor for heals and tank merc died right away. I left them there since they didn't agro any mobs. At about 78%, popped Glyph of the Master, stacked DoTs and kept myself healed. He pushed me away several times, but would then summon me back.

Beware the Knockback

The knockback is just assanine. I really don't know of a good spot to fight this guy, because the effect causes you to rapidly move away, aggroing anything nearby. I have no idea if he casts this more than once, because on this first cast I ended up getting about 6-7 adds and wiped.

Yeah, he uses Knockback multiple times during a fight. You have to keep the area clean of adds. Do not use a mount, put your toon on "walk" and remove any movement spells you have, such as SOW or FOE. That helps a LITTLE. He's still a pain!
some weird fear type spell
# Oct 18 2010 at 2:24 AM Rating: Good
I didn't get the name, but he uses an almost anti-leash. It's not fear exactly, but it basically forces you to run far away from him at a very fast speed.
