Level 50 necro with DMF and pet making loops round and round underwater, pet killing everything in the zone that moves... level 37 druid camping the entrance near BB. Spawned twice within the first 30 minutes, and going for third spawn now...

If anyone camps this guy on Tunare and gets the Ignot or Icon(I forget which one) of the constant, could you send me a tell if it's tradeable. I can't pay much for it, but I'd like it a lot, thanks if you can help

This guy does not drop the icon/ingot. Dignis Lowwater is the uy you are looking for and he spawns every 4 hours and is around lvl 35.
The other piece you want is found on Sludge Dankmire in Runnyeye. Sludge is easy to find in Runnyeye. Because he is in the well, most do not even know he is there or just dont bother with him.
Both pieces are NO DROP. So if you want the BP you have to camp these guys yourself or buy the armor.

Here's the best method I've found for increasing the spawn chances on this mob:
Get a druid or ranger (if ranger set tracking to normal mode)
Track and kill all unnamed mobs from the bottom of the track screen up.
About 2 full passes and Bilge will spawn.

Okay as for the price of this thing it puzzles me lol. My server <Druzzil Ro> has the worst enonomy in the world, quest gems for 250pp on a good day =P gebs 1k - 2.5k CC shield I couldn't even sell for 5k but the PKT still sells very well for 15k lol go figure it is worth more on my server than others =P. I am still camping him, gonna bring my wizzy friend/wife =) with me and just pull all I can from the water and she can kill =) then I just pray he spawns.

I've run around the zone killing all the goblins and snakes, and skeletons I see. No one knows what his PH is, so don't say some BS like you know exactly where and how he spawns...it could be totally random, but if a GM agreed that he has a PH, then that narrows things down. I've seen PKT around very rarely, and whoever the moron is that sold it for 7k, you are an idiot. This thing still goes for 11k, and it is almost 2002. This is on an extremely old server, where Wurmslayers go for 750 now, and Eboots as low as 1k. This has extreme value not only for wisdom, but for the rarity...personally, with the money to afford this you could get a lot better purchasing over 100 wisdom worth of items lol...

When I have just finished the quest for Gem Inlaid Gauntlets in ButcherBlock, I think well what the hack, just a check won't hurt. so I went to Dagnors Cauldron and see if the little Bilge is there. Bingo! turn on my tracker and god knows he is there! :) it cons blue to me Lv 33, so I snare, dot, DD, again and again; and I loot the belt, its nice and don't think I will sell it cause this is the first time I loot what I have dreamed for! One thing is ture and has mentioned by someone else earlier that rare spawn don't camp, just come to check once in awhile, you may have better chance than sitting there all day; unless its a very popular loot that many ppl are going after, and that will be another case. Nothing really useful but at least we do know it exists and below lv 35. Good Hunting and Play Safe

Fisrt of all, Dwingus and Bilge have different pathing. Also, when I first decided to kill Dwingus I engaged him then see a shout “Bilge!!!” which I take to be some lying dork messing around. Right after I drop Dwingus I track the player who shouted and run. I get there just in time to see Bilge drop by him and his buddy. Ever see a MOB and its place holder in the zone at the same time? No you haven’t. That’s why Dwingus isn’t Bilge’s PH.

He goes lower than 35. Ive seen him twice at 45 and once he was blue and once he was green. So he goes down to at least lvl 31.

Well First off that fellow who said you cannot KS Bilge, you need to learn to play nice with others. If another player engages a mob then it is theirs. Period! Any attempt to swoop in and kill it your self is Kill Stealing, and should not only make you surrender the loot, but get a GM warning. It is the reverse of what you said. The high Level player should congratulate the younger player for their great kill, buff em up and move on only to try again. Anything else is just selfish and one reason some people can't stand high level players. They think because they have 30 game days logged that they have a right to do whatever they want. /shout I am Kiting Kelethin Guards Near the Wizard portal, get out of my way" or some such. As to Bilge, hehe I got him my first day of camping , while I leveled, helped a friend with the coldain rings quest and cleaned my whole house. It's not hard to figure out, from reading many of the below posts. It is long though and you have to have tracking. So good luck to all of you out there. Get along play nice and try to be happy for other players that might have beat you to the punch.

when bilge popped i was the only one in the zone had been there 30min and not killed a thing just sitting in front of unrest checking track and what do you know there he was.. killed him in a matter of minutes, very easy to kill lvl 45 dru..he dropped the pkt didt see it in graphics but had it on him he popped close to unrest not to familer with that area but i didnt go far from the unrest zone..when i got to him he was standing still not moving attacked me before i snared him lol..

dwigus is not a rare spawn just so u know i clocked him .... and everytime i went to look at the time i figuerd he poped ..so digus is no rare...ill be putting the time in next time i am on.... i was off about 10min..Max.his spwns R As follows.3pm 11am 7pm...EST... :) ... now How i came to do this u ask...well when i was 19th lvl and ready to log off ... a 35lvl monk sent me a tell to help him track some one.in return he would give me an item that he drops..18wis item....I ,as would any said ok. i meet him in DC and we go to the island, he begins to fight all the tidal lords that r on the island, told me he had killed everything in the zone prittymuch.. and that he knew his spawn times... well guess what Bilge was on track 15min later. and he spawned in the water..thats why u dont know where to find him... we killed him.... and the monk looted ... the totem was on him , and he lied to me, saying that what he was supposed to have he didnt.. i asked if what it was he looted and he said .. oh this for a cleric , my bad .. ill destroy it.. well i know i got used .. so when i logged i looked it up.. the PKT ..what could i do .. i didnt know.... i then camped for 3 or 4 days straight .. and was able to clock dwigus... bilge im still hunting...

I have been camping Bilge for over 2 weeks now. on the 4th day of camping him he spawned with the totem in his hand , But while i was fighting em a 50+ druid comes along and watches me for a sec then nukes em twice and boom dead she loots the PKT and logs. By the way i was a lvl 43 ranger. Im still camping him , i killed em yesterday at about 5:30pm est and he dropped the reed bel. Then today , about 2 hours after the patch boom he was up again!!! , and was the only person in the zone . So i got another reed belt. Wish that frigin druid have never ksed me. his a pain in the ***! My method is kill all the mobs at goblin camp and while all of em are dead at the camp i run around and kill ever wandering mob. Then go back and kill the cmap again. Yesterday , i killed Dwigus and then i started fighting a tidal lord and i hit track and boom Bilge was up . There was a druid in the zone so , i hurried my *** to em. but most of the times when i kill dwigus bilge never spawns so i really dont know. Well Good luck to everyone that camps em , your gonna need it!.

WEll, a very good friend of mine desired this totem, and i was foolish enough to take up the offer to try and find it, well being a warrior its very tough finding rare spawns, but i am very patient.....after about an hour or so, i saw cleric quest goblin which i heard is a PH for this guy, and if you wait long enough totem Freak will spawn. this is only what ive heard form some of my good high lvl friends, nevertheless i needed to camp cause it was too boring!

man i have cleard the zone tring to get this guy to spawn lol did not happen but again a rare spawn is not that easy to get but you'd thing AFTER 4HOUR'S OF KILLING YOU'D GET HIM TO SPAWN hehe well i take it as he spawn's when he like's. hehe all i got to spawn was the guy for cleric quest armor hehe still good because i have a cleric =)
P.S. if you know a why can you plz share so that we done have to sit there hunting killing for about 4HOUR'S and having people laugh at us. hehe

I spent 8 hours camping this rascal, I petitioned a GM pal I knew and all he could tell me is that there is a placeholder in the zone for him. He was unable to inform me as to who the placeholder is but if you know please do tell...

he said a PH? if it is it could be anything like a rat or any spot. i see alot of players get upset and ask what they are doing wrong and such. just remember 2 things. 1st computer programers can code RANDOM events hehe. 2nd spawns recycle themselves. i have been in this zone for 30 lvls on and off and have not seen him. i dont even think you can really CAMP him in the essense of the action. its complete luck. take my advise and find about 10 mobs you would like and drop by those areas now and again.

Yea?... well i think maybe MOST computer programers can code random events, but NOT verant interactive programmers =P. When im doing trade skills, first it works 10 times in a row and skills up 8 times... then the next 5 i do wont make a single one, its so screwed up. NOT RANDOM at all... if you dont believe me try that or try rolling (/random 100) a few times and see for yourself...

I was headed to Unrest quite a while back when I saw this guy on track. He was red so I didn't both, and I decided to hang out at the NPC camp. They all aggroed on me for some reason, so I hit SoC and got the hell out.
And now that I think about it, I think I saw him even earlier when I wandered into DC! In fact, I think he pounded the life out of me too... :P
But I do remember one thing from the time he beat me to death...he was sitting right past the broken gate. So maybe you should check here.
But ARGH, I wish I knew about this earlier. Now I'm going to spend hours and hours camping him and never ever see him again. :(

So, I run to him only to here a goblin casting spells and being attacked. First thing that comes to mind is that someone grabbed him before me. Well, someone did, THE DAMN POISON MERCHANT AT THE TOP OF THE ISLAND. The first time I see him and he is NPC killed and even though I cast a few nukes on him to make it my kill if it was another PC, it was a NPC so one hit made it his, no corpse no exp NO LOOT.

Just kill the NPC you wannabe KSing moron. If you attack the NPC he will stop attacking Bilge and attack you. Kill him, then Bilge.
And one hit does not make a mob belong to the NPC. If you do more damage than the NPC and get the killing blow in, then you will get the loot.

So you went up to a fight and you nuked it to make it "yours" in case it was fighting a PC. Basically you're saying you tried to kill steal it from someone and are upset that it was an NPC you couldn't kill steal from. Yep, I'll go flame Verant for that one right now. /sarcasm off.
