Does anyone even know how hard he hits? what he cast? if not..how can you compare him to Sleeper? i personally think sleeper would own anything in the game. INCLUDING the Avatar...
Just because Sleeper is ALOT newer than this guy says hes probably stronger and hits harder, plus his little every 30 second all zone death touch thing wouldn't hurt his chances. An MM is probably limited to the 32,000hp since hes much much older than Sleeper.

erm..Sleeper no have zone wide DT. he summons mobs and players to him and then kills them. his DT is believed to be as strong as any normal DT. :)

Sleeper is undefeated.Mayong Mistmoore, also undefeated. Who can say one is better than the other. If Verant wants sleeper to be better he is better. The same goes for Mistmoore. Till someone beats one or another, only verant knows who is better. So, unless you work for Verant, please do not try to convince anyone that one is better than the other. You simply do not know for sure.

it is hard to say but as far as brute strength the sleeper is far more powerful than mayong, the only reason mistmoore here is so hard is because the only time he spawns is during events and he's always gm controlled.. meaning unless the GMs let you he litterally can't be killed... the sleeper is a whole different thing, the sleeper is a normal NPC mob but is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY powerful.. mainly because of the zonewide deathtouch.. until player can get more hp or more resists or something then noone will last more than 1:30 against the sleeper... so really it just depends on how you look at it but IMHO i doubt mayong will ever be defeated and unless they change something neither will the sleeper...

Okay Lords and ladies, back in the day when I still played Eq I was in a guild Called Guardians of the Stars Right? well One day there was a GM Event that Started, well I can't remember where it started *grin* But It ended in the DC enterance, and One of my guild mates I think his name was Mortian? Not sure Its been a while, Well Mistmore was there I took lotsa pics of him. LOL good looking DE I might add, and My guildmate became his son of somthing and Now has some title cuz MM made him a vampire, and the RP'd it out and he drank his blood yada yada yada On top of that Mortian has 100% magic resist and some other things too, Including the Title he got Sorry can't remember what it was Its beena year and a half for crying outloud =) But anyways You guys are Right he is GM controlled.Not sure if that helps Just saying that I HAVE seen him, Just looks like a DE mage nothing more. *shrugs*

... I've been hit for 32000 by an NPC before... I ticked off this GM in a GM event by continually running round and round him... he got ticked and Death Touched me for 32k... it hurt... a lot... and I had about, oh... 500hp total... so in other words, overkeel...

In GM events, GM controlled chars are considered NPCs by the game engine, so you can kill them.
Some GM controlled chars are not meant to be killed though, so they get special abilities like 32K HT and so on.
I have seen a GM controlled char slash for 32K.
I am not really sure if Mayong is a GM controlled char or if its just the spawn that is.

What I want t know is, why do so many people in their 30's bother asking how to find or kill this or any other 60+ mobs? Get out of OT, go to DL, then Veious get a kick-*** guild and THEN worry about it.

I have a friend who was present when Mayong spawened once. He is GM controlled because he took control of the whole zone, telling everyone to stop shout and ooc chatter. And let me also tell you that he is extremely hard to beat. Not sure if he's as hard as Sleeper or AOW, but I can say that he Grav Fluxed about 20 players for 1500 a piece sending them flying across the zone. ANY mob in the hand of a GM is hard to beat, and if VI dosen't want you to slay him, then believe it you can't win. It's like trying to kill a GM when they have regin buffs that restore 500+ HP a tick. IT CAN'T BE DONE
Only 500hps per tick?? get a high level shaman, druid, necro, enchanter, and stack all of their DoT's, comes out to over 1k damage per tick. This is just in DoTs.

Why do people continually try to prove their EQ IQ by posting half a$$ed information about something that maybe 50 players on any server have seen or fought? I've fought Mayong. I was a lvl 30 rogue on the Mithanial Marr server. The zone had about 40+ people in it from level 25-49. Every last one of us who fought got owned, ruled, punk-thumped- whatever slang term you choose to mimick this week. Kerafyrm has more then 32k hps. Velious mobs have been beefed up in hitpoints and now the wizzys are crying that they are useless. Bottom line kiddies. Mayong is Gm controlled now, broken out for special occasions. Kerafyrm is the "uber mob" of the game now- and rumored to have 1bil+hps. I haven't gone on a sleeper raid yet, but will soon. When you get out of Crushbone and start exploring the world and doing quests then post here. Until then just keep shouting for player leftovers in Gfay and East Commons.

Look, I don't know the real deal on whether or not he's GM controlled. I DO know that on Vazaelle the guild Promethian Order got some GM's to spawn him... whether or not they controlled him during the fight... well, that's iffy. In any case, I DO know you can guild raid him. I know this 'cause I happened to be looking for the Sacrificial Dagger (btw, why doesn't someone put the Imp Familiar on an EQ milk Carton? I spent 7 hours in the friggin' graveyard, and no imp... day after I spent 9... bah!). I enter the zone, and hit /who. I see about 20-30 lvl 55+ in the zone. I wander down the ramp, and read the following msg.

You feel sick.
You have died.
LOADING PLEASE WAIT.

I honestly think this guy is the strongest in the game. He forged a castle strong enough to corrupt the entire lesser faydark. He killed a dragon from the Ring Of Scale. He is one of the few things they fear. He could take Vox, Naggy, or even Kerafym, if there ever was a match between the two.

It is not judged by the con but by the difficulty of the mob. That is why there are jumps from 65 to 70 and so on in multiples of five. This is done for sheer knowledge of the power of the mob you are fighting. E.g. Avatar of War level 80, one of the hardest in the game, Sleeper level 80, up there with AoW, and lastly Vulak'Aerr level 75, get it now you retarded newbie.

This vamp is Gm controled you have to set it up with a gm to have your group attack him. on that day the gm will play him and you will be the only group alowed to attack him. Anyone else he will teleport you out of there.

Hey guys here's a clue for you. Kerafym The Sleeper is actually in the game. Meyong Mistmoore is GM controlled. Now story wise Meyong Mistmoore is one of the only things that stops the Circle of Veeshan (yeah that's right ALL the Dragons) from taking over the world. He's also, as the story goes, the only person on Norrath to have ever solo'd a dragon.... so as the story goes he's powerful enough to make ALL the dragons in Norrath afraid of him.... The Sleeper could probably beat him in a one on one fight, BUT Kerafym will be the first of the two to drop. Provided Verant does WTF they're supposed to do and finish the scripting for The Sleeper.....

But then again, wasn't the Sleeper banished from the Circle of Veeshan? So thereforem I'll assume that Mayong could not make the Sleeper fear him; and also assume that the Sleeper is still strongest mob in the game.

Why does everyone think that the level range on this site is the Be-All-End-All for the mob level?
This is not always the case. There are 5 mobs inside ToV that are lvl 75. The Sleeper is lvl 75. Now, can you honestly tell me that ANY of those dragons have even a prayer of DAMAGING the Sleeper, much less killing him. NAAH!
Lord Vyemm, a lvl 75 mob in ToV was taken by 30 lvl 60 characters as reported earlier by a guild on Xegony. All the other Lords have been killed. Even Vulak Aerr's been killed (and he summons).
Now, how many guilds have killed the Sleeper? (I mean, he is after all lvl 75; just like the other dragons right). Hell, most haven't even significantly harmed the Sleeper, much less kill it.

Just remember, the level range doesn't tell everything about the mob. Because if it did; Tunare would not be unkillable.
This is not always the case. There are 5 mobs inside ToV that are lvl 75. The Sleeper is lvl 75. Now, can you honestly tell me that ANY of those dragons have even a prayer of DAMAGING the Sleeper, much less killing him. NAAH!
Lord Vyemm, a lvl 75 mob in ToV was taken by 30 lvl 60 characters as reported earlier by a guild on Xegony. All the other Lords have been killed. Even Vulak Aerr's been killed (and he summons).
Now, how many guilds have killed the Sleeper? (I mean, he is after all lvl 75; just like the other dragons right). Hell, most haven't even significantly harmed the Sleeper, much less kill it.

basically just the end of the statement "and he summons" your saying this as though it is a unique ability that only he gets.. when in fact any mob i believe 51 and higher have the ability to summon.. just my 2 cp

To tell you the truth my friend:
Sleeper is now the only mob not yet killed in the game. All others have now been conquered.
Sleeper is judged at 80 for difficulty as well as the Avatar of War.
Vulak Aerr was only level 75 as North ToV is not a problem anymore for most uberguilds.
And even for the Avatar of War the Chanters have to Charm the level 60+ giants to even get enough damage on him, but it now looks like charming them is nerfed too(THANKS VERANT). So now the AoW and Sleeper will be the only real unkillables since the nerfs.Sleeper has only been awakened on one server now and after that Verant spawned a few dragons to help the sleeper since they said the Guilds raiding were exploiting bugs.
Face it Verant doesnt want these mobs killed.

Heiggan Stackbabber 54th Assassin-Sol Ro
Eaein O'Malley 44th Mage-Sol Ro
Dallaan 13th Paladin-Torvo

Ever heard of stormbreaker, hes neva been killed either. O yeah, and don't give me the crap that u can't attack him, I know you can, I saw a big group of Necros and Sks try to take stormbreaker down.
