Bah! Necs can easily fear kite these guys that hang around outside the castle. I do it all the time with my 11 nec. First time was to save my life when one of these jumped me (yellow), and I learned it was possible. I do it as often as I see these guys now, and I really don't remember it ever failing.
Maximum level is a bit off. My level 22 PC on Test conned an even lego last night (8/21/02).

When I was in Lfay one night when my Warrior was just lvl 19, i decided to see if the orc chief was up since he coned even to him last time. Well, in his place there was an orc legionare, i faught him for a few seconds since the ones in Crushbone coned light blue and green to me, and realized that he was kicking the crap out of me (doubling for 40+). I then coned him to find to my surprise that he coned RED to me. Luckily that orc camp is near the ranger camp and i deposited him there for the 15 rangers to take care of him.

these guys arent that tuff. i soloed them twice with my level 9 magician and pet. they only conned yellow to me.

Then you got them at level 11, I've had a few con yellow to my level 14 Pal, as well as blue cons, I think the level is pretty close to what it say's

Posted: Jan 20 2002 at 5:45 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I got to 16 from 12 by just killing legos with root and shock of lightning. they spawn usually one at a time so you can med at kill another shortly after. if there's an orc oracle on you and a lego i root the lego and kill the oracle.

Posted: Sep 27 2001 at 7:50 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I, an enchanter of the 11th season had ran into one of these while rounding a corner to go to the castle wall. being that i had never fought them before i was about to run until i conned him. he was yellow. i never saw any even close to yellow. but that might have been because i just leveled to 11 a short while ago. so anyway. with my pet already out I stepped back and cast chaotic feedback a few times. i only had half mana when i saw him first. then i damaged over timed him with suffo sphere and tanked for my pet. luckily i had been blessed by a freindly dwarf cleric who cast valor on me at unrest a short while ago which nearly doubled my health. soon the lego turned around and started running. and he almost got to the castle but then i took the SUPER small amount of mana i had left and cast suffo sphere on him. this killed him and left me cheering at the other people at the castle wall. it was even better when i looted a shoulderpad off him.

Anyone have a clue what a deathfist shoulder pad is for, one dropped of the Leggo that spawns at the orc camp near the ranger station in L'Fay?

Lego's in Gfay can drop both Crushbone and Deathfist Shoulderpads. They are used in the Quest the Blue and Green, a Steel Warrior (Freeport Warrior guild) Quest.

I'm a 9 monk and it conned red, but my group of an 8 wiz, 11 bard, 9 rogue, and 8 bard took him down. I think he was around 13 or 14 because it conned yellow to the 11 bard.
