When u enter Lower guk on the live side. Meaning the entrance deepest in upper guk. Then u walk over the bridge and up a little way u then come to a fork in the road . at this firk the Minatour Patriarc ( MP) usually stops for a little while.
**WARNING**
There are LOTS of roaming frogs in this halway.
when u come to teh fork mobs usually come from the right. they seem to hug the right wall and do a full round going in a perpetual circle. The MP seems to go to the fork then turns around and goes up the right path again until u get to a new fork and then stop and turn back again.

The Patriarch is found typically wandering the maze in the live side of Guk.

You all give great examples of what he has and where he is. Thats all dandy and all, but you failed to say one thing. What is his ph? If you get there when the ph runs around the maze, wtf are you gonna do? Raise some hell until you find the ph? Well that should be very interesting to do....not..... So if anyone knows the ph, or his walkabouts, throw a post.
As far as I know, there is no specific placeholder... the area he's in spawns a few kinds of minotaurs, and eventually him. So any minotaur in his general area can be a placeholder. Got to the area he's supposed to be in, kill minotaurs up and down the hallway for a while, and he should spawn eventually.

Me 52 warrior and my friend 52 pally were down in this camp for pretty much the whole day lookin for some sleeves for my monk. We easily killed our way down and everything in and near the camp. The first spawn cycle we killed his PH and noticed him casting the second time around. We found him and easily killed him but he dropped the crappy sword which we had no use for. We stuck around for another few hours and still no Pat spawn so we went through at least 7 or 8 placeholders. A few friends joined us and we went up and wrecked the king (unfortunately I lost roll on crown). We killed our way back down and swung past the Pat camp and still no spawn. Needless to say im still down there trying to get the sleeves. I would say hes a pretty uncommon spawn and the minos in the camp take a while to spawn.

This sword was giving to me be a higher level ranger to replase the weapon i had. im in my upper teens now and use in my off hand, well its starting to give me the msg. 'your will is insificent to wield this weapon' any ideas when i will be able to use the root? that you for you time.

i think the sleevs are cool becouse thaycan fit all the class and races and the ac is good forthe level

im a 51 druid kos want the sleeves but very unexpirianced in live guk. How do i get there just kill my way through cuase some of the minos see my invis.

i recently got his sword from a guildie and he said its quite rare but i dont care about that. im not sure what the root stops doing damage at but at 43 it does 52 and lasts around 15seconds at most which is ok i guess. but anyway if you get this sword DONT turn it in for a ssom since it jsut plain sux and if you really want the ssom go to wk and track ghoul messenger who is nearly always up and ready to be killed.

He is a ranger as many had said, if you make a very bad pull and have to zone you better have high magic resist if he has the ebony bladed sword, since it procs grasping roots it can mean death to you, also the sword can be turned in for a short sword of Morin as well.

He spawns outside the alcove that spawns 3 minos in the maze. Once he spawns he will wander the maze.
If you can break the room with 3 minos you can camp in there and just tag him when he or his place holder pop.

Their weight is almost nothing. They weigh o.? Anwayz all of my casters and my monk wear these and i must say that these are the some of the best no planar sleeves in the game. Plan on picking these up for a monk or mid level caster

The Ebony Blade will sell for about 5 plat at a vendor if you're tired enough to think that it's a fine steel weapon when you go to sell
