Got a Exe hood today and I toticed it had a new class that could wear this. I believe this will be the new class with Shadows of Luclin. From the looks of it and rumors I have heard the new class will be beastmaster wich perfeclty matches the new class displayed on the item wich is BST right next to WAR RNG ROG etc...

the new class is beastlord not beastmaster. and yes that is what BST is for.
I'm POSITIVE that DEX affects how your weapon procs. I am a Paladin and use a Ghoulbane. I started with 75DEX and now at 90. And let me tell you. There is a big difference. When I first started with 75DEX, my weapon would proc maybe once in 2 battles. But now, it procs at least once per battle. And when it procs, it hits up to 150damage, but usually 138. I believe that DEX is needed by Rogues for their backstabbing. And DEX also needed for people with Bows as it affects the damage and chance of an arrow ladnding on mob

Why do rog say dex and agi is king? I peronnaly take STR over agi and dex when the agi and dex is so low... The STR increases your backstabb dmg, and when in a group, just evade. U shouldint be tanking anyways if your a rog, thats what warriors are for. Rogs are meant to group and kill, obiously, since the only way to backstabb is to get anotehr to aggro it, or fear it. Someone tell me what Dex is ainly used for here... i keep getting the wrong impression... Thanx!

Dexterity directly effects the proc frequency on your weapons, for one thing. Dex and agi are very important for rogues because they raise the frequency of connecting with a weapon, especially for backstab.
Correct. AGI doesn't have any factor into the backstab, afaik. This is based upon backstab skill, pierce skill, offense, str, dex, and weapon damage. My 45 rogue uses a Sebilite Scale Cap (ac 12, str 4, wis 5, int 5, svm 2, svp 2) but I'd rather have the executioners hood. I don't need the wis/int on the SSC and as a rogue I'm willing sacrifice the 7 ac. The 9 dex would definately be helpful. Rogues will notice that their backstabs will land much more often (have an enchanter give you Boon and see how much of a difference that 100 dex does :)

wis affects your resistance to mind spells... you don't wanna be charmed and back stabbin your group do ya?

we had a 41 druiud, a 50 wizzie, a 52 bard, a 39 warrior, and a rogue aroung 40...and we got destroyed. well, when we first went in everything was going well. But for some reason like 15 froggies all spawned at the same time, or they came from other places in the lvl. Kinda weird, our group was not that balanced, but still i would think we should be able to handle that place..

Hrmm, Sounds like you were trained, or you let one get away.
Lower Guk is a nasty place if you let any escape.
With appropriate control, a group of three can fight very well in Lower guk at the higher levels 45+

2. Level 37ish. Warrior, spawns on top of a table in his room.
3. He's got lots and lots of friends, something like 3 stationary spawns and one wanderer.
4. The hood aint that great for Rogues. Assassins, get a Crested Helm instead! Better AC & STR, thats what we need. To hell with AGI and DEX!
5. You may execute the caged Froglok Slaves (located in the cells on the sides of his room) at will. Sometimes they drop some weird, weird stuff.
6. Such as FS weaponry, Timourous Tuna, Emerald Rings.

To pull from this room you should have someone with lull, or a horde of Froglok will come down on you. That or my puller (Spektor da Trolly) learned that more frogloks will come from other parts of the tower when the Exe is pulled.

Simple way to find out if this guy has the hood or ax is to have a necromancer nuke him with Ignite Bones gives the critter illusion skeleton so you can see if he has it, if not then he has the hood. Necros, after nuking this guy target your pet and take a screenshot if it has the ax.. that should **** some warriors off =)

I'd say the Executioner's Hood is probably about the best head gear available for a monk. I was lucky and got on for 200pp on Rodcet Nife server. I love high levels who have too much money :)

That is what it looked like a LONG time ago. I personally think the new axe is more appealing, but still, it is a GREAT weapon. We'll leave it at that!

The pic of the axe is screwy, it looks like the silvery 2 hander in the pic above, and if you've ever seen an Exec Axe equipped you'll know it looks much different.

You should best be around level 33 before you try to get in group to camp this guy and if everyone in the group is 33+ you shouldn't have that much trouble with his room as long as you have a balanced group. Theres always dangers though this is lower guk we are talking about its always dangerous.

If the ghoul executioner drops such good loot, is there a catch about hunting him, 3 day spawn, very high magic resistance, perhaps triggers a huge, train of things higher level than he is?

drops best helm for melee classes low ac but lots of dex and some str, I have seen ppl that have full PoF armor, but still use exe hood over PoF helm

If he has the axe, you will NOT see him wield it like other weapons wielded by mobs.

IF YOU ARE A PLATE WEARER... read that again. This hood is god for rogues, which btw are not plate wearers. 9 dex is great if you are a dex rogue, and the str isn't that bad either, although there are better str items. I personally am I dex rogue and with this and lots of other cool stuff dex is over 160.
