I'm surprised that the amount of damage wasn't 8675309 for Genni. Smiley: cool

be sure your faction is high enough to turn in your coin for the fire opals, if not you lose your coin.

What's the lowest faction she will still convert Enc plat bars at? I'm at apprehensive, and she doesn't want to talk to me.

Genni galvanizes enchanted bars of platinum. To my knowledge, they're only used by clerics for the cleric quests, but it's good information to know for non-clerics just in case... 8)

Genni says she was wants 550 gold for each fire opal and she's very specific about it, reminding you twice -- but 55 plat works fine.

I've seen some folks walk away more than a little upset when she only thanks them for the 55 platnum. She is serious when she says 550 gold.

Hmm.. can someone else verify this? I do want to buy some of these, but I only see one person saying yes and one person saying no. If I get there tonight I will post with my response. I would just carry the coin but for a caster type that can get very heavy, if you want to buy 3 or 4 etc.

Ok, I was there a few hours ago, and I can verify that you CAN give her 55pp instead of 550 gold, and get the stone. Just hand her the coin and get your rock. Hope that helps someone, no need to encumber yourself to buy a few.
