Razorfang  

After much killing I finally got Razorfang to spawn in Bloody Kithicor at 290, -1276. I sat there for a few minutes watching, and he never moved, so I assume it was a static spawn point. This is north of the lake.

I had been doing most of my killing just NW of the lake. I found 'a large kodiak' up by the lake, pathing back and forth in a small area. I killed only it and tracked the respawn, hoping to get another named to spawn. I never saw another named spawn from that mob. It respawned 10 minutes later a few yards to the east, and each respawn was in a slightly different location in the area, even though it was the only mob being killed. After about an hour of this I started killing other roamers in the area NW of the lake. I eventually got 'an ebony stalker' to spawn, but based on the timing, it was from a different spawn than the original kodiak.

I also got a 'bixie soldier' to spawn a bit north of there. I didn't catch exactly where, since I only noticed when going through the loot window.

Finally, after starting to massacre everything, roamer and static, both by the lake and near the Void zone, Razorfang spawned for me and I completed the SoD hunter achievement :)

While killing patrollers at /loc 650, -2190, 0 Razorfang literally spawned under us.

Strategy is straight forward, melee is your best bet unless you have a pet that can stand up to the damage this snake can deal out or a well geared lvl 85 with a tank merc you can heal.

Nonetheless, snake hits very hard for an animal, reminds me of the lvl 60 pig in Nadox I used to charm and equip with mage items, Razorfang is a beast and a fun fight, assuming you come out on the winning side.

All information on this mob is accurate: random spawn and random location.

Also, we had killed a wolf in that spot from the previous spawn, was not a snake. Similar to the rotating spawns behind Darvin Oggleby's house.

Snakeskin collar dropped from Razorfang after our encounter with him/her/it.

Im assuming just like the bixie situation in BKith (kill enough trash bixies and the named one spawns, randomly and in no short order) So randomly kill snakes in the entire zone and hope and pray the dice roll on name spawning =P
