Kizdean Gix  

I have had more than enough of getting my *** destroyed by Gix. Beffalen and the area around it is my proffered hunting ground. Sure at lower lvls the goul root in Beffalen ment my death more than once but that wasn't so bad at least I had warning. This SOB just appears and attacks me out of the middle of no where. I've kept count, I've lost my life a total of 16 times now because of him and I've dropped a lvl twice. A warning to others he will come into the entrance area to Befallen to kill you. He's done it to me 4 times. But as I always say, don't get mad, Kill the son of a *****. And so I shall. Your days are numbered you dark elven ****. Pray to whatever dark god or goddes you do that I only kill you a few times. It won't work though. Your *** is going down 5 times for each time you killed me. Await my comming Gix and fear my name. I will end you.

The guards at the tollbooth are corrupt, thats why they wont kill Gix if you run to them. I think they are around 30 -35 and you can kill them for a pally quest.

i've had probs with this stupid inkie since lv 15.
if you're a good race hunting befallen,and like rv over fp as a base,gix is a massive pain.
he gives me a little more leeway since beaking 19(i just go a good way around if i see him),but can still kill the crap out of me.used to be he was on me before i could even see him,even when facing the way he was coming,he'd just run over the hill or othersuch and mash me.
true about the huge undercon!a dark blue shouldn't be able to roll ya quite that bad,but his time's a comin'! most deffinately a revenge case!!

ps-anyone know a good recipe for dark elf parts?

Everytime I run through West Commonlands and try to get to good places for a Level 18 Warrior like myself <Llyoran>, such as the orc camp near the Druid Rings, or saay, Befallen, Kizdean is always there, even sometimes 1000 feet away from me, but no matter how far away from him, I appear to be, whenever I get close enough to target him, he always runs after me, castiing Fear, and backstabbing me. Kizdean Gix, if your automated soul can hear this, your *** is mine, when the time comes!!!!

Hit Lvl 24 w/my wizzie last night, loaded up my Commons Gate and all my new buffs, and went to visit my old friend. Gixx wasted me several times about 10 levels earlier, using a devastating combo of spells and physical brutality, so this was going to be SWEET!! I found Gixx, and he conned lite blue to me. Thought I was being paranoid, but cast all my self-buffs, and medded back to fm. Stood up, set my sights and prepared to wipe the floor with this chump. Waylll.... Gixx resisted my first root spell, and calmly began WALKING towards me. He resisted my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th roots, all the while bludgeoning me to about 30% hp WITH HIS BARE FREAKIN' HANDS. He Didn't even bother with spells. Finally got him rooted, and NOW he was gonna pay! Hit him for about 120 dmg, broke the root, and he runs over and pummels me to death. Lost my level and ended up back at Lake of Ill Omen where I had to fight naked for an hour just to get my level back so I could port back and get my pathetic dead body. Just so's ya know, though Gixx: "I'll be Bach!".

Like Dorn, Gix now has insanely high resistance to spells. 15 roots, 6 stuck but none long enough to cast a nuke. Took me from full health, 90 mana to dead without my ever getting a chance to fire (I can channel roots but not a 4.2 second nuke). Allowing he's like Dorn though, the nukes will likely hit for 50% or less despite the fact that I'm double his con'd level.

Okay, it was my first trip to West Commonlands, just kinda wandering around killing things (like young kodiaks, giant spiders) when I saw what looked like a dark elf player standing a little south of the "toll-booth" guard house. I must've wandered too close because... (times are minutes-seconds)

elapsed time: 13 seconds and one dead level 17 mage (it was my second death of the day, both deaths were death-by-stupidity). A kindly upper level caster took Gix out so I could just walk over and get my body (that Gix was still standing on top of).

He conned black to me a day or two later, but I was unsure of the faction. Now that I know I can raise Eldritch Collective faction, well... let's say I'll be hunting this DEF's hide whenever possible.

I asked around when I came back to do my corpse run, and apparently Gix always stands in the little holler just S-SE of the toll booth (when I've seen him that is). I'm trying to get up the courage to take him on with a water pet and a level 14 paladin.

They haven't fixed the undercon. He nows cons green to my lvl 26 Ranger. Having been clobbered by surprised by him a time or two in my youth (<20) I decided to take him on since he was green. Both times I was successful although he got me down to one bubble of health. He did grant xp though so he must be a very strong 25 or so. He resisted every spell (root, snare, flame lick) Dropped no pp but did have a lore illegible message.
