I pulled this guy with snare and stood toe to toe melee. He conned red to me (76 ranger 28k fully buffed and 2560 ac) he went down easy as did the Giant Tree Boa's. First time in the zone so my ****** was up and I took on a Sarnak wandering mob and got my *** handed to me on a plate after 5 seconds melee.
Moral of the story is stick to Wolves, Crows and Snakes if you want to straight up hack at them.

I've been kiting these things all night and haven't been summoned.

Logged on after patch this morning (12-8-09) to kill some of these with my 83 mage and was summon about 5 seconds after pulling with my malo line of spells. Guess this is Sony's way of keeping farmers from mass pulling the whole zone now to pop named. The scaled wolf hunters and trackers I can confirm also summon as well. So kiters beware.
