Wrathpaw roams the area northwest of Blackburrow (click for map image).

It "hibernates" periodically during fights and becomes unattackable for the duration; summons when under 97% health; doesn't flurry; doesn't flee at low health.

I killed a single brown bear near the void zone at bottom of hill, only mob killed in zone(i was only one there). Wrathpaw spawned in 3 cycles. Loc was pos4200 neg900. Wrath or PH will eventually wander by here. Hope this helps

Found him patrolling around p3978, p38. I'd spotted with a tracker just a few minutes earlier a bit south (higher on the hill that loc is at).

I cleared all the a brown bear in the zone a few times. Killed the Brown Bear Denmother at least 8 times. I started going after an infected brown bear types. I would clear the entire zone of a brown bear and an infected brown bear. I kept tracking with ranger. Nothing. I did this for a few hours. Wrathpaw never spawned. EDIT: Gave this multiple tries since my original post. I saw him up on track when i zoned out of old blackburrow. I was finally able to kill him to complete the hunter of oceangreen hills achievement.

Wrathpaw and Den Mother

Just started camping Gnolls and have killed a bear or two near the Blackborrow ent. Met the den mother once or twice after killing a bear and also just roaming, met Wrathpaw first time tonight 85 Pally with Cleric Merc. Wrathpaw hibernated 2/3 times starting round 80% health, was lessoned at the time so didnt persist, appeared immune to stun.

You have to kill the brown bears and this spawns her.

This is correct. I killed every brown bear in the zone and a couple minutes after he spawned over the hill by Black Burrow. Dropped the shoulders. Was looking for the bracer. 8(

Every time I have seen him he is between bb and fortress on that side of zone. Like the wisp and named gnoll not at all common. This round he only " Hibernated" once.
Loc please

I got him there too after repeatedly killing the brown bear wandering on the hill between the fortress and Blackburrow (10 min respawn). He conned amiable to me (a druid). Even if it took me maybe 4-5 hits to kill him at level 95, he didn't hibernate once.

I just took him out for the second time, but this time he entered a hibernation state at almost exactly 30% health. Due to this state Wrathpaw was unattackable, which is rather unpleasent while fighting him in the open terrain (adds).

He regged a few percent HP and when he left the hibernation state my pets attacked him again (they waited in front of him / didn't fall back when he first entered the hibernation state).
