Brother Zephyl  

Not long after I saw Brother Zephyl on track and tracked him to (right where it says Brother Zephyl on Good's maps) so I decided to do a little information gathering. I followed him south from there until 1046 -2397 where he turned right (as he was going south) and he went west towards the 2 named beetles, then turned north (did not turn west into the drake area) and kept going north and then northwest at 3556, 337, going between the huts, and paused at 4527, 1550 (Hasten paused at 4692 1618) for about 30 seconds. He then proceeded to backtrack to the intersection at 1160, -150 at which point he turned south, went to 312, 25 (Hasten paused at 874, 154 where he turned back east, north at 1078, -2398, paused at 1593, -2434 (right where it says Maldyn the Unkempt on Good's maps) where I witnessed him despawn)) , paused for 30 seconds and then continued south and east to go through the basilisk area.

He then turned north at the intersection at 1006 -2309, until he turned right at 2568 -2285 , heading toward the dead end in the far NE of the zone. He paused at 2992, -3382 for about 30 seconds, and then vanished (I witnessed it).

I watched many of the mobs which follow the similar route path north into the hill giant area and they each to have their own unique path once they get into that area, but it is quite a few different waypoints and too onerous to list them all.

I didn't observe any taking the right turn as Zephyl did, but it seemed they all used the waypoint of 2229 -2312, no matter which way they were going, within that intersection.

Hasten also did show on track without me killing anything, coming out of the hill giant area.

Of note: no PH wandered NE into the dead end tunnel where Zephyl de-spawned.

One PH went south and through the basilisk area, and the one I observed was a lizardman. Interestingly though, this NPC pathed into the drake area after coming south from the unkempt druid area, and did not pause at the same spots Zephyl did.

The same was relevant to Hasten, and his PH. The PH does not follow the same path as the named apparently.

On Mangler, just under 5 minutes respawn (like 4:50 or 4:55). Also a basilisk and a grizzly bear in the cycle

(Live - Tunare) As of May 2020, the PH no longer have a static spawn point. They spawn at various points on the hill giant hill, north of Feerrott zone line, and then path southward as usual. 5 minute spawn time. This camp still sucks.

Tried to duo him on Mangler as a 60 monk/sham, monk had 440ac and all Luclin defensive AAs. Got wrecked. He hits for 358 max and resisted everything except malo. I got him to 90% before I had to bail, he just laid down too much dps on me.

All of the spawn info listed above is correct as of Jan 2020 except that the PH is only 5 minutes. Took about 2.5 hours for him to pop for me, just for me to get wrecked :)

So I created a heroic monk and have done absolutely nothing but log in and run him to rathe mountains to get started on 1.0. I have an alt account that has a ranger for tracking that I'm boxing to make killing PH's easier. Ok so I've been camping Brother Z now for roughly 50ish hours broken up into 6 days (still going).

Day 1 - 9 hours x2 Bro Z spawns
Day 2- 9 hours x3 Bro Z spawns
Day 3 - 9 hours x2 Bro Z spawns
Day 4 - 9 hours x1 Bro Z spawns
Day 5 - 12 hours x2 Bro Z spawns
Day 6 - Just started not even an hour in got Bro Z but no robe.

I have yet to see him with a robe obviously since I'm still here. I feel if maybe I am just unlucky in this particular situation but I can confirm he is 100% the rarest of the spawns in the PH rotations. May the struggle end soon but just throwing this out there for anyone about to camp him for Robe, I honestly feel like it would have been easier just to camp Raster.


*Update 1/12/2019*
Day 6 was the most fruitful with 6 Bro Z spawns in 10 hours but no robes
Day 7 one hour in Bro Z spawned and was physically wearing the Robe.

TLDR: Long camp sucked, Robe confirmed still drops 1/12/19 Good Luck

I parked myself at p2130, n2290 (that's at the top of the north/south narrow path from the Feerrott zone)
All PH's and Brother Z path this way.
They are on a 6 minute timer... but be careful, Hasten runs faster and you may miss him as he quickly runs past you if you're not looking at your screen.

Drakes = 57
Bears = 42
Hasten = 12
Mald = 5
Bro Z = 5

No robe yet.

Just confirmed the Robe of the Lost Circle still drops off Brother Zephyl as of 01/01/2018. Took me about 5 hours and he was visibly wearing it on his 4th spawn. Very happy alt monk!

Brother Z ph's are a drake, maldyn the unkempt, hasten bootstrutter.
They are on a 5 minute respawn timer not 6
Right after they spawn(which is not in any specific location just around the SE side of the hill giant camp) they all path towards the feerrott area and down through the zone towards lake rathe.
Once you have done the initial task of finding and killing the ph i have found the best spot to sit is next to the biggest tree coming out of the gully into the hill giant camp area, they all path right next to it.

As an edit/update to this i have also noticed as well as others that a grizzly bear is also a ph, the other ph's do not spawn when it does and it goes to the same pathing

Over 20 hours into camp have had Bro Z spawn 3 times so far, no robe yet

Been doing this spawn cycle for a couple of days off and on. So far:

Drakes: 51
Hasten: 11
Maldyn: 6
Brother Z: 3

No robe yet though...

Just started looking for him to do the turn in.

Current count:

a drake - 16
hasten - 1
Maldyn - 3


ZZZ....

Hasten, Hasten, a drake, Maldyn, Hasten, Hasten, Hasten, Z (no robe), a drake, a drake, a drake, 8 more drakes, nothing yet.

Now add about 30 more drakes to that post.
