has 2 spawn locations, both PH's are a gnoll shaman.
one is in a larger open room with 3 snakes and a patrolling gnoll, with a ramp leading up to a lot more mobs.
2nd is very close to the brewer. when you are coming down the long ramp from the zone in area and get to the bridge drop off the right and head to the water area with razorgills. around the edge of the water you should see a gnoll shaman with another static trash mob next to him.

I've seen some of the random-ness of Blackburrow pops...I've seen this guy pop in 2 places that I've camped before, and in both spots his PH was 'a gnoll shaman'...So, just a suggestion, but perhaps any 'gnoll shaman' could be his PH. And if that holds true, then the other gnolls (arcanists, archers..) may be PH's for the other Darkpaws. /shrug

where does this guy spawn? and how common is he?
This gonna sound kinda odd and i havn't completely confirmed it yet but i think the Darkpaw nameds all do either one of 2 things, either they 1. switch where each one spawns every few hours or so or 2. spawn randomly. Because Darkpaw nameds pop up all over the zone in any place imaginable and it never seems to be the same place twice, where as the other nameds such as Lord Elgnub, The gnoll tactitan, Master Brewer etc all spawn in the same spots. i think personally it is because the Darkpaws were not original mobs in Blackburrow and have no spawn points (minus Socho and Tranixx), of course it may also be SoE's attempt at lowering the aggresion between camps and people getting in fights over "stolen mobs", which if thats the case didn't work to well ;P

I was in one spot for 4 hours yesterday, and Nixx Darkpaw spawned in the same spot every time. Perhaps I didn't wait long enough, though. I haven't spent much time in BB.
