I attempted to smack this guy around and immediatly the guards attacked. I have good faction with the Qeynos guards as a human monk.

Something must have changed. The same guards consider me as "an ally".

All he drops as of 06/14/01 is a torn blue robe. I kill him and let the noobs loot, or kill the guards just cause I get board waiting for him to respawn. The New players love the kite sheilds and it's kinda fun to wastch them walk away smiling.

So you know, the guards will not attack if you attack Neclo. I have been killing this guy for approx 25 hours on a 5-6 minute spawn cycle. I am a 54 Enchanter and just needed the faction for my epic and honestly, sad but true, this was one of the quickest ways to increase Blood Saber faction. I went from Scowls to Ally with Blood Sabers (with a Dry Bone Illusion to the Necro guild) in about 25 hours.

Ok neclo coned black to me a lvl 16, never attack him anywhere near the guards, for he buffs them and is thier friend. Wait till he walks clear of the tower, remeber im a lvl 16 necromancer. so you ways are diffrent than mine. At 16 I darkeness,sent in the pet, heat blood, lifedraw

You have slain Neclo, he's easy exp well into lvl 20. Hunt misty at lvl 16 to 20 also, then hunt her siter in the NK wiz spires. I love being a necromancer, keep in mind that for every fraction hit, there is always a counter hit to keep you dubously with everyone.

One of the most gloriously incorrect statements I have seen posted here.

Many factions are difficult (tedious) to repair.

Some have no known way to repair... and this is in 2015 when they've removed "real" faction from most of the game since PoP, and have put in potions and such to forgive your misdeeds against some factions.

Killed him today as 23 druid --- his spells took me down 2 bubbles before I dropped him with my DD careless lightning --- hes no weakling anymore

He first gave out a scroll of Elemental Armor which you could sell for about 3pp, then they changed him but he ended up bugged and level 1, he's better now but only gives out a scroll of minor shielding :(

This guy is so weak it ant funny maybe it is just on Vallon Zek but i am lvl 12 Barbarian warrior and i killed him at lvl 5 and he was green to me so i am guessing he is pretty low maybe lvl 1 or 2

I'm a Dark Elf on fennin ro and i kill this duck for fun : )
I loved it when he use to hand out the high lvl spells and then the newbies would walk up and see a dead neclo with a Dark elf standing over him grinning evily. HAHAHA i love being evil

he hasn't been disbanded, he just gives out a low lvl spell not a high lvl spell now
