Duoed by a 71 Rogue box and 74 Shaman with healer merc and tank merc respectively. Malo wouldn't land, neither would Turgurs but Discord hit twice which was enough. Had to patch heal as the cleric merc kept letting the tank merc get perilously low on hp's. Poison and disease dots were never resisted, curse was resisted every time. Had two adds but pet off tanked well with only a few heals. Both in current group gear, nothing special. Was a pretty easy fight. A5 tank was strong enough. Everything else as has been prev stated. Dropped fabled cap the first time and fabled orb the second time we killed him. Hopefully the shank will drop for my rogue on the third try.
In my opinion this guy is one of the easiest tower named as he can be slowed. If i remember correctly he has a AoE that kept killing my shamans pet and the rampage is single, by keeping my shaman and pet at max healing and buff range i only got the rampage ( when it landed ) maybe once every minute. I kept outside of its EoA range and was not getting hit by anything other than rampage.
i think the best thing is to pull it down in the pit because he has a few HPs and mobs on the walkway leading to him will repop before you kill him. Shaman pet at level 80 can easily solo one add...with heals.( shaman pets are garbage!! )
I say this but i always pull him to the corner on the walkway, right next to the platform where he pops.

This guy was tougher than I expected. max 2400, he gots a aoe but i resisted it almost every time. Main thing to understand is the rampage was only tougher part about him. No real strategy, I chose to pull him to port in point, just wacked him down.
