Aggroed it by accident and that lead to an interesting situation. It couldn't kill me and I couldn't kill it because of the charm spell it kept casting. I spent 99,9% of the time charmed. The only way out of combat seemed to be DA and /exit.

Was able to box this mob with my level 85 Tower-geared WAR (7100ac with CLR+self buffs and metal powersource) + rouge merc, and level 85 CLR-bot (Brell's Rest group stuff) + clr merc. Took almost an hour to bring it down. My arms actually became tired just watching my character swing her blade. > <;
At the level of AC I had, max hit was around 5100ac (no defensives) with averages of around 2.5k. Ran a complete heal/promised recuperation rotation on the CLRs. The damage was sometimes spiky, at other times almost neglegible (crazy DPS mechanics at work). Charm never landed at 700 resists, so I am not sure why there is an "irresistible" tag on the spell. *shrug*
At any rate, Criare dropped 2 fabled earrings and the fabled shoulderguards, which were spammed in General channel (congrats to people who got them for free).
Was a fun experience. I plan on tackling more of these POF mobs when time permits. :)

Incorrect spell info, Fabled Pheonix Charm is very resistable. 28 minute fight and didn't land on our tank a single time.
We killed both phoenix last night, charm landed one time only during both fights.
