Easy solo these days

Solo'd the entire raid instance in about 25 minutes, 105 ranger with 90k hp/2300 ac/17k AA's. Specter was up, killing it triggered the summoners. Ranger AOE at that level kills the groups of trash instantly, the first named started popping up around 5 minutes after the trigger. They're slow to spawn but after 15 minutes or so all were killed and Fabled Bert popped up. Fight lasted about 5 minutes with ranger AA's triggered, and considering Bert tanked 6 finishing blows before succumbing (average of 150k each hit) I'd estimate his HP to be around 10 million. Dropped fabled and normal versions of the rotting fist, fabled and normal versions of mask, and the normal shoes. Also dropped 4 ethereal parchment.

Killed him twice this year (2014), and was my 1st time ever able to get him to spawn, last year normal version spawned for some reason. Wasn't sure what to expect so I brought all 6 of my chars.

Group consisted of my army:
Gold Account - 94 Barb BST & Wolfie - 8k aa's - T5 Geared / 85k hp's / 7k ac (I will retire her soon, higher levels are soo boring).
Box's include:
Silver - 95 Mage + air pet
Silver - 95 Shaman + spirit wolf
Silver - 95 Chanty + animated warrior
Silver - 95 Cleric
Silver - 95 Druid

When I initially spawned him he casted some pb ae and drained all mana off my box's, so I zoned out / in and placed them in the far corner. Fight lasted less then 20mins. On my 2nd go around I knew what to do, where to place boxes, and fight lasted maybe 15mins. Both times he dropped Fist and what ever else (I was only after fist and didn't pay attention to other drops). He is really easy, just a ton of hp's, and I only used shaman for heals when both sets paragon & warders gift were used (cleric & druid was there for b/u. I didn't even pull their screens up once I parked them in the corner). I did notice "finishing blow" finalized the final 7% health he had. Weird because I thought fabled's had to be killed every % step of the way *shrug*. Anyways, fun fight & my new baby bst (Wood Elf Bst & Trent this time) will have a nice weapon when she hits 75. Then we all moved to PoV and killed that fabled dragon (had to pet pull him because floor was locked) for the other nice 1hb weapon to use with these Fist for my baby bst!! :) :) *Hugz* =)

Finally killed him

I finally killed him today at with a force of about 20 people and all of which had their mercs out. The average level I think was like 83. Our tank died a few times, and we got whiped out one time before we actually killed him. The second attempt was fairly smooth... We had probably a total of 10 deaths, but they rushed back to the mob quickly.

HE DROPPED ALL THREE FABLED ITEMS, THE FIST, THE MASK, AND THE SANDALS.
I claimed the Fist, and the other two were awarded to some guildies.

You trigger this guy the same way you trigger the normal (Unfabled) Bertoxxulous. You start by killing Carprin Deatharn in the church side (undead side) of Crypt of Decay. (Carprin Deatharn is supposedly on a 3 day spawn time)

Aggroing Carprin Deatharn spawns Fran Prisoal, Breddan Rutyl, and Abroan Drian.
After Killing Carprin Deatharn, proceed to kill the other 3 mobs. Each mob will be deeper into the church. Upon killing all three of them a tiny pusling (name?) appears at the throne made of bone in front of the rows of benches on the undead side. This should basically be your way of verifying that you're doing everything right so far. If he doesn't appear, idk what's wrong lol. (Sorry)

After the little pusling spawning head to the front of the zone (the room you were originally in when you zoned in). You should see a Throne that is made of bone that looks exactly like the one that the little pusling spawned in front of. This should spawn you into the basement of Crypt of Decay. Kill a Spectre of Corruption to begin the event.

After she is dead, mobs begin to spawnn in the North, South, East, West, and Center rooms for the next hour. Continue to kill these mobs until eventually the Fabled Bertoxxulous spawns. He will spawn in the Center room. He will stay spawned for only about an hour or an hour and a half. Make sure you have a plan devised to kill him. With an 85 Bard, 85 Druid (2), 84 Rogue, 76 Beastlord, 67 Magician, and each of us with our mercs out. We were still not able to take him out. The 76 Beastlord had 1.1k+ AA's, the 67 Magician had 720 AA's, not sure about the rest of the gang unfortunately :(

Fabled mobs are only up during Fabled time (mid-March to mid-April). Refer to this for a quick overview of the Ruins of Lxanvam Tier 2 events. Carprin cycle (or the alternate access flag) is required for lower Lxanvam access to get to either the normal or Fabled Bert.

His max hit on my mage was 6068. He did not go below 99% for the approx 3 minutes that my merc tank survived. He has millions of HP. I guesstimate 10million. 85 mage was able to spawn him solo no problem. With a 2 hour event timer I had about an hour to kill him if I wanted to

Respawn time? Total HP? Amount of people it took to take him down ALONG WITH how much HP, Mana, and AA's each person had? Hardest part about taking him down?

fabled bert
# Mar 16 2008 at 10:54 PM Rating: Decent
Bert in CoD hits for around 5.8k (on a druid), has single target rampage, also saw him casting "Fabled Rot of the Plaguebringer" which seems to be a tiny dot with huge mana drain.
