Use hide or sneak if you have it. Both will make you faction indifferent, which was enough for my Wood Elf Druid to get the book and page. Remember that you must be behind him to get a faction adjustment.

I am Indifferent to him , yet when I give the 2gps he looks at me ands says he things I might taste good or something like that and I get nothing.
I gave anotehr the 2gps and sure enough he got the book and gave it to me.
So I then step up and give the 4gps and again I taste good and get nothing. He never attacks me.
I cast invis and try it, same results.
It appears not to be my faction, so is it maybe my God?

to gain better faction with Moodoro you have to improve faction with Crimson Hands.
To do that, there is a character in Toxx forest, his name is Elial Brook, and he's lvl 7 necro, he spawns close to the bridge, by a little hut and dock. Really easy to kill.
Kill him maybe 10 times, and Moodoro will judge you amiably next time you see him

Killed Elial Brook, Moodoro still scowls at me. Will kill the little b#$tard some more and report back.

I killed Elial and moved my faction up enough to complete the quest!

You need to complet the Following Quests, all of which raise faction with Moodoro, Gnoll Scalp and Orc Scalp quests in Highpass,

I did manage to give him 4gold before he nuked me :) but no card
If anyone knows if/how we can raise faction to get it, let us know.
(P.S. while scouting the area with a lev 3 qeynos naitive magician, I saved up the 4 gold and tried out the card thing.. POW! jester first try. Moodoro knew my real char was a troll, I think he's teasing me. damn.)

I am a Troll Shaman and when i conned him he was scowling at me, and as such would not let me get the page he holds of the testament of vanear. Anybody know how i can raise enough faction to get it off him.

I'm a human cleric and for reason or another he is apprehenive to me. He says that he will not help the likes of me. I have tried to give him money but he is a ******* and won't give me the page and the book. I guess I will try the gnoll and orc scalps. What faction is it that you need exactly?
