Not sure about spawn rate, but I do know that at 8 am game time, he despawned while I was applying poison. Will have tocheck back at a later time to see when he respawns so I can update this for you.

This guy is a merchant, he is listed on a few other sites. He sells all the components for a Contact II poison that is great for getting you to 100 skill in poison making.
However, my problem is that after running across the damn Karanas (boy, I can't wait to jam a dagger in that God's back, making a zone like this...) the guy wasn't up. I sat on my duff for a day (EQ time) and he was a no show. Is this a normal thing?

i have read information that this guy is NOT a monster. he is suppsoed to be a vendor for rogue poison components that are of low skill.
I killed this guy (twice to make sure), me a 41 Druid. Got me down to one bub of mana. Snare, Drones, kite repeat. At the end, his corpse went poof, and recieved no experience. He did con blue to me. Avoid. Waste of time and mana.
Whenever you kill a vendor their corpse will always poof, no loot and no exp. They have this to discourage people from killing the vendors.
