We saved time by illusioning the NE door at the entrance and running through that route, down the well and to the hidden rock behind the broodmother's room. You then have to duck through the rock to get into the room, which got one of our group a couple of adds. Next we killed all the trash in the room, and buffed up. When we were ready we pulled the broodmother down to the floor level and beat her there. We had a mage parked near her spawn point nuking cocoons where possible (killed 3, let 3 spawn mobs). Any adds that did spawn rushed all the way down to the broodmother, and one ranger AE (BoA/SoA etc) killed them dead. If we were to do it again we'd just burn named, and AE adds as they come.

This is a 12 man raid that you get by talking to Kadara Fangbreaker in Loping Plains. It is an instanced version of Bloodmoon Keep. It takes quite of bit of clearing to get to the Broodmother and she is all the way back in the spider area of Bloodmoon, which is in the very NE part of the zone. After 2 to 3 hours of clearing (your milage may vary) we finally had the Broodmother sitting at her spawn point all alone. She does not summon and is rootable.

Our two groups consisted of Anguish/DPoB geared folks with the majority at level 80. We had 2 warriors, 2 clerics, 2 chanters, 2 rangers, Pally, Wizard, Shaman, and a druid. The MT had about 21k HP and 3.6k AC. Max hit was about 4800 without defensive. Most hits were in the 3500 range. With defensive the average hits were in the 2500 range.

Exactly 1 minute after you engage, and 1 minute there after the Broodmother will spawn 4-5 cocoons near her. If you don't kill these quickly they hatch and 4 little spiders will come out and attack. The cocoons did not have many HP's, I guess in the 8k range. Our wizard was almost able to handle them by himself. The 2 rangers assisted in killing the cocoons as they popped.

Then at 75%, 50%, and 25% she spawns 2 to 3 spiders that rush you from behind her. These also don't have many HP's and we just killed the 75% and 50% spawns but then mezzed the 25% spawn and just focused on killing the Broodmother. All spider adds were mezzable, including the ones that hatch from the cocoons.

We came very close to wiping as we lost both warriors when the Broodmother was still at around 20 percent health. Our Pally stepped in and finsihed tanking the rest of the way. (He is our guilds highest HP/AC knight) A fairly fun fight once you get to the Broodmother, just a long slog clearing trash from the ZI.

There is no loot reward for this mission. You do get an Ancient Emerald Faycite Bisection and faction with the Fangbreakers.
