Ok this is how I *believe* that the factions work. All of the ogres EXCEPT FOR GOONDA are on a faction that everybody starts out amiable to. Goonda, I believe, is on Ogguk Shaman faction. All of the other ogres will assist Goonda if he aggros on you, hence the confusion caused by the faction cons.

Killing one of non-goonda ogres gives you a faction hit with "Rallos Zek", sort of how killing the bandits in GFay gives you a hit with "Bristlebane". Killing Goonda gives you a faction hit with the Ogguk shaman guild (Shaman Of War or something) as well as a few others that escape me for the moment.

I'm going to head over there and try to get a CBB in about 5 minutes, so I'll see if that's what makes sense.

the way to find out is to con them and see how they come up. i was wondering the same thing, but according to dorn b'dynn in north ro, i think they are a rogue group of ogres and are on a different faction. going to find out tonight, hehee.

so far i've killed the priestess 3 times and was extremely happy with the drops:

1) batskull earing
2) batskull earing & sheer bone mask
3) sheer bone mask & chipped bone collar

after her a far second has been the shaman/shamaness who occasionally drop the earings & mask. i havent gotten the chief to drop anything better then bone armor or the turtleshell helm...

as far as the chipped bone bracers go, which seems to be the most desired item.. i haven't seen one drop myself. today i went to TD to try to camp oowomp (same drops) and the druid who had been camping there for at least 6 hours had yet to see one as well. does anyone know.. is this just bad luck, or is it just that the bracelets don't drop for druids :-)

She is spawning again, after a brief absence (which I believe coincided with the implementation of the Researcher's badge quest), and she seems to only spawn next to Chief Goonda, and PH's can be a shaman or rarely a shamaness.

Her spawn times are random, from back-to-back spawns to hours.

She can, and has, dropped up to two items at a time (I got a batskull earring and a turtleshell helm one time).

After serveral kills, I am convinced that the Glowing Bone Collar no longer drops... only the Chipped Bone collar.

Aye i can confirm that the collar still does drop, I camped this place like a total of 20 Rl hours over 4 days and have only seen her once, At which time she presented me with this nice collar.

Have been to ogre camp tonight and priestess was there and she dropped Glowing Bone Collar bless her! It wasn't what i was there for but posted this to let you know it still drops.

camped here with a few mates today for about 4 hrs, no sign of priestess, kept camp cleared and all, out of the 3 times ive camped here never have i seen priestess, does she still exist? anyway nice camp, a ranger like me can go an pull other baddies lick choon and froon, or ghoul messenger.

Priestess is still there. Saw her once today and then she was killed by a )#(*$)@# hill giant before the wife and i could get to her....((((

Yes, as of 17APR02 she is still there. Was there when I went to break the camp. She dropped nothing and I never saw her again in the 5 hours I was there. <sigh>.

Got a batskull earring off the orc priestress. Seems like a rare spawn, only saw one in 2 hours camping. PH are shamans or even chief himself i believe.

We took on the camp tonight. It appears that killing Goomba lowers your faction with "Greenbloods" and "Clurg" and raises it with a couple of dwarf ones. However, killing the guards or the priestess or shamaness lowers your faction with "Rallos Zek" which I can't find listed anywhere. Oddly, everyone but Goomba and his pet conned amiably toward me, so when I got close, only he came out to play. Of course, if I had actually attacked him in the camp, the others would have helped him.

i was running through WK a few weks back and stopped to see if Chief was up, all the guards and shammies conned amiable as i was looking for the chief he came running with his dog to attack nothing else came so i killed and looted the Batskull, but my point being nothing else agroed however im a lvl 48 ranger hehe, thick or not, not all ogres are suicidal, i went back and still was amiable ,

Hello, I have always tried to figure out how to solo this camp... i finally figured it out today.. i am a 40 druid..chief goonda i could waste... but he heals himself and rarelys drops anyway.... so when i solo camp i get close enough to where i get HT by a ogre gaurd... and while in "WOLF Form" run up to froon and choon the cyclops... they will waste the gaurds... then do another... and heal self... then do the other 2.... and heal self.. snare goonda... then run to the cloppys.... and they will waste him... then take the shaman and shaman.... and kite them.... anyway u please... thier spells are resisted alot.... GOOD LUCK....

As a druid with Harmony, it might be possible for me to pull one at a time. At what level is it SAFE to solo the Ogre Shaman and Priestess. I know they are level 26-29, but some of those buggers are tough for their level.

As a 44 Ranger, I kill the chief by training him (Use SoW, he and his pet run as fast as SoW) to the Guard tower near the Qeynos Hills Zone. Let the chief and his pet kill the first guard. Then target the pet and nuke away with Dismiss Summoned. Once the pet dies, wait for Goonda to kill the last guard. If the Guard kills Goonda, you've broken the camp. If Goonda kills the last guard, he will be left with very low HP and you can finish him off for experience and loot.

im 37 druid and can solo it. just snare the ones u dont want. Still cant kill the chief. He keeps healing himself.

I found you cant get close enough to Harmony without agroing Goonda...and once you agro him, you will get the whole camp on you, until you are 40 or so, then you can just pull Goonda.

I was also kindly to them before cleaning out the camp. Chief was ready to attack though. Priestess drops the Chipped Bone bracer, bat skull earing, Bone plate armor, including the shear bone mask, also got a turtle shell helm here. Don't underestimate them though it can be a tough spawn to break. Once broken you will not have any problems though.

You are not KOS to the normal ogres, but check the strong one in the middle, Chief something... if you are KoS to him, the others will help... beware

these guys conned amiable to me, but then i got a little to close and the guy in the middle, chief something or another blasted me, and with all the ogres pitching in, i was dead in about 2 seconds because of all their nukes.
kinda sucks
