Ok I'm a 24 cleric and I have killed about 3 or 4 ww in Kith in the process of camping my cleric boots. They con low blue or green at my level. They drop ok coin, but I got the serp insignia once really nice +5 to all saves. This was in Kithicor and the only reason I knew they were there was because a 14'th druid was kiting one around and was shouting for help with it. When he brought it to me he had gotten it down to about a bub of health so I G-healed the druid and then stun-smited the ww for the kill. After that I killed em a couple more times near the cleric ingot spawn on the stump. I do have the pelt but I had to get that off the one next to the druid ring in WC that spawns just around dawn. Where can I get the claw any ones in particular drop it or all of them at random?

Killed my first werewolf in West Commons today. I was proud. Conned blue to my Level 22 Warrior. Dropped nothing but change. I was pissed, I had a 50pp offer for the talon waiting for me. Wudda letdown.

Ok, for everyone who is curious about the werewolves in Kithicor here is what I know. The first time I stumbled upon these in kithicor it was running after a poor soul headed to HP. I quickly killed it to save them. I looted it and nothing but change. The creature was blue to me at level 26. I found out that the wolves spawn around the lake where the zombie camp is. Be careful trying to camp them now that kithicor is an undead spawn at night and he spawns only at night from what I have seen. Never got anything but change for loot. Hope this helps

Not sure about how rare they are, but they are of the lower lvl variety in Kith. One jumped me near the WC zone, and it conned blue at lvl 19. He was smacking me pretty hard though , so I zoned. I think I'll go after him in another lvl or 2.

Ok guys, I've read all your stuff about the ww's in wk and wc, well, I'm in HH and I want to know about the ones in Kithkor, r they rare spawn? what level r they? do they drop any loot besides coin very often? this would really help if I knew any of that, thanks. camped bandit farm a lot for cash my theory: ww spawns at wk/qhills zone most the time but i killed it 3 times when it spawned by farm got pelt twice. the ww was blue to me at 20 first time i killed it, blk 2nd time (had help)& blue 3rd time at 21. ww that spawns by zone IS higher lvl.

I was also doing the blessed oil quest (to raise faction to do the Aegis of Life quest) when I was medding by the tree by the path to Qeynos Hills by Brother Estle when I was jumped by a werewolf, it was around 4:00 am. I am a 35th level cleric, he was green, but still packed quite a punch. I received exp for the kill but did not drop anything. Just added my 2cp.

Then Gypsies in Mistmore drop the talon, you can kill them either as gypsies, or as the WW...either way they will drop the talon

The talon for the crafted breastplate is found in Mistmoore, in the gypsy musician room. Either they drop them or they turn into werewolves and drop them, cant remember but I know thats where it drops :).

The spawn point for the ww in wc is the south east corner of the zone. From ec at the sands. I have killed about 10ww's and never gotten anything but cash, but am about to go to mm for the w talon for the crafted breastplate. Is he any worse or better than the regular ww's?

meadadar, you can't kite something that is 20ish as a lvl 15. It will resist everything you have, and you will end up getting smacked around for 66. No, you can't solo these guyas until later. 24 or so, I'd say. Maybe 20 if ur lucky.

This may be a total coincidence but i was doing the blessed oil quest to raise my faction, im a high elf, and after i gave the oil to Brother Estle i turned to run back to Qeynos and im looking a Werewolf in the eyes, being a lvl 5 cleric i didnt last very long at all. So i got my stuff and did the quest a few more times and another time a lion was there. Like i said it might just be a coincidence but dieing a few times the same exact way has me believing it might just be a random spawn thing that happens when you do that quest......who knows??

This werewolf is not a random spawn to my knowledge. He pops at 12AM nightly to wreak havok on unsuspecting travellers. I discovered him during a midnight stroll as a Lvl 8, heading to Qeynos. Not a good idea runnin in the Karanas at that level. He hit me 5 times in a row. I got nothin on it. Died quick. So, I just dinged 27 and decided to try my hand at it. I am armed with the great shammie dots and nukes and also a blackjack, fer the whuppass sessions.
He popped, just like regular, at 12am. I rooted and dotted him for 180. Then, he whipped out HIS can of whupass. He hit me three times fer 53. I can take a lot of damage fer a shammie - 600 hps worth, but after his beating took me to half, I decided that discretion was the better part of valor and zoned.
For what it is worth, he cons a low blue to me, but he hits as hard as a Tesch Mas Gnoll, so be advised. The con don't mean jack to the smack.

I'm a 15 druid and I'm jus wonderin if there is anyway I could solo these guys or if there is a tactic especialy for druids to take em (like how we take down 3 enemies at once) down at 15.

The claw dropped off of the one in the WK. All the other ones I have killed have just had coin, and not very much for their level. My guess would be that you will never get a talon off of any of these since its used for the crafted breastplate quest.
As for the level, my 26th warrior can solo the werewolf in WK now that my riposte us maxxed out. It hurts but I can do it.

I camp the WereWolf spawn in west Karnana in one place. At the zone entrance to Q hills the werewolf seems to spawn at either 10:00pm or 4:00am. In its place will either be a lion or one of te paladin runners.
The other place I have seen one spawn was in the west commonlands near the lake by Kithcoor. I am not sure exactly where this one spawned because we happened upon it while it was killing a Grizzly.
As for the levels. The West Karana spawn has been level 25 everytime I have killed it. The wolf is the commonlands conned white to me my bard at 19h. I was gouped with a 20th monk and we handled it with no problem.
Out of the 10 or so I have killed mostly in WK only one has dropped anything. I did get the lupine claw for the gloves which was nice. Finding Karg was a pain though :). Hope this helps some people.

His most common spawn time seems to be midnight, but he can spawn any time after darkness falls. I was told that sometimes another werewolf or even two will spawn when the first one is killed but I haven't seen it happen.
If he is not killed immediately he usually goes towards the bandit farm, then up to the bandit camp on the hill above it. He will kill bandits, bears lions and any players who don't run fast enough.

Yesterday i ssaw something fascinating and horrifying in West Karana. At this point I am of a very low level and was wandering around hunting spiders and the like when i saw a Grizzly Bear, which cons red to me, running as fast as it could from a frenzied werewolf. Needless to say, i ran. Hey i have the strategy guide. I know they're about 4 times my level. It was like watching a lion taking down a zebra. Paralyzing and terrible- yet very cool to watch. Must be very aggressive.

Chubby, werewolves do not drop the talons. The talons are dropped by the gypsy musicians in Mistmoore Castle.

One side note... Werewolves do not see invis you can... stand right by one and it not see you altho thats not likely either since from the time they spawn till the time they die or despawn they are running around fast and attacking almost anyhthing close enough to catch it's attention also I have killed several werewolves mostly when camping Ogres in WK and only seen two drop anything one was the claw an the other the pelt which is why I am here trying to find out if there's a difference between the pelt and skin

I haven't had the pleasure of actually "seeing" the WW yet, but was sitting at the zone in WK, took a break for about 3 mins, went back to the computer and the last thing i read was "YOU have been slain by a werewolf", lol, so i guess it does spawn at the zone :)

To date i've killed 37 werewolves, 36 in wk and on just out of luck in wc. The one in wc dropped the claw which i have since turned into guantlets. Of the other 36 i've killed at the qeynos hills zone in wk, seems to be he spawns roughly 60percent of the time. always between midnight and five am game time. So far i have looted only two lupine armbands and have yet to see the collar. Not sure his lvl but very green to me at lvl 38. Since im camping the two corrupt guards i usually try to scoot over around midnight. Most of the time theses guys are a plain waste of time but hey you just have to hope for a talon one day.

What lvl is the Werewolf in West Karana. I'm a lvl 29 magician and had no trouble with the one in West Commons. What lvl do you have to be to take out the one in west karana?

I have camped the werewolf in WK almost exclusively lately, and have killed him 20 to 25 times. He dropped loot twice a lupine armband and a pelt. I camp at the QH zone and most nights he will spawn between 9pm and 7am, other nights he either doesnt spawn at all or spawns elsewhere in the zone.

He is easy to get to pop, just kill his placeholder and like clockwork..six hours later..instant werewolf. He is fun to hunt, except for a druid to stand still for more than two seconds invites the poparatse. "Spare a SOW sir"

I killed a werewolf who was yellow to lvl 30 mage (with a wiz partner) in South Karanas who dropped a locket (lore, no drop, no stats). This is apparently related to the paladin armor of Ro quest from Rathe Mountains. Sentry Alecin turns into a werewolf, and you can get the locket from either form.
