Garuc is not pleased if you give him Brother Trintle's busted Prayer Beads:

Although he says you will die, he doesn't attacked. I suspect he used to and when Sony made the change to no longer allow guildmasters to be attacked, the change broke this.

He does not take the busted prayer beads dropped by Brother Estle, just hands them back.

That is interesting. I posted this under the Paladin hunting quest just to warn anyone that might be doing the quest for the faction hits (as this undoes them).

He asks for prayer beads and order of thunder. Prayer beads cannot be obtained except by questing for the good side. Giving him prayer beads (Koalindl quest with Enic Ruklin):

Order of Thunder seemingly drops from running paladins in West Karana, and I just saw Kobot Dellin up (the only one listed as dropping it), and it dropped. Upon turning that in:

Garuc Anehm says, 'Ha! You must have slain one of the Knights of Thunder. Those pitiful knights have been a thorn in our side for far too long. Take this reward and continue the work of Bertoxxulous.'
(same faction hits as prayer beads, rusty dagger as reward)

is this guy on? I want to do the quest to raise Bloodsaber faction, even though I am an sk and already have decent Bloodsaber faction from the beginning I want to max it out. One thing I don't understand is that if the rat shaped ring is a reward for doing a Bloodsaber quest, why can't sks, necro, etc wear the ring? This ring should be ALL/ALL but with the restriction that the wearer be a follower of Bertoxxolous.

Give him the bloody tunic and 1/10 time you'll get the rat shaped ring +sv disease +sv poison
I got one at first try ...now working on the second ring ..it really looks cool and im a fashion victim hehe

After Ton Firepride gives you back the bloody dress/tunic you then take it to Garuc. He is located at the very back of the Necro/SK Guild in Qeynos. He then gives you a Patchwork Tunic AC 6 and exp. You have to have faction with the Bloodsabres to even get into the Guild area w/o being KoS.

I too have never done this quest I wisah to. The reward is some times a Rat Saped Ring, Where in the Catacombs can this guy be found?? I really need to know to finish this quest. Thanks.

This man is supposedly part of a quest.
If you give faren the toolbox take the dress to Firepride, he will say maybe Garuc will reward you for such a vile deed. I've never done the rest so I don't know the results.
