After spending 4-5 days of double nameds 8+ hours a day killing the "PHs" as they're labelled on Good's/Brewall's map packs, I looked on Alla's. This mob actually spawns at the NW pyramid "Avatar pyramid", not the main pyramid that it has 2 spawn locations listed on map. 30+ hours, not one spawn. Saw Terrorclaw/Adept/Ritualist 10+ times each, never a raptor. Switched pyramids and it spawned within 2-3 hours. Roams right in front of the 3 spawn Thul Tae Ew mobs right at the base of the pyramid. Not saying it can't spawn at both, but I certainly think it's extremely rare if it does spawn at the main pyramid.

Thank you for this. Been making the same mistake. One of the last rares that I need and after 3 days hunting NE area (per goods maps), not one pop of this mob. Will head to the NW pyramid and see how I fair there.
Update: Just got it there so can confirm it is NW pyramid.

Located in the Northwest corner of the zone at what's commonly known as the old "Avatar Pyramid." He was one of the roaming raptor spawns, that circles the pyramid.
Hits very fast/hard and is more resistant than your average Cazic-Thule named.
