In Permafrost (regular zone): Lady Vox, along with Lord Nagafen and Phinigel Autropos, is one of EverQuest's original three raid bosses.
Those who would challenge the ice dragon would be advised to increase their Magic and Cold resists to counter her Fear and Ice AEs, respectively. She is also a cleric, and, as such, possesses the ability to cast Complete Heal on herself.
Vox is a Cleric; has 32,000 hps; summons; and hits for a max 205.

If Vox and Naggy made kerafrym why is he so damn powerful and why the hell are they so weak?

Because Vox and Naggy did not create Kerafrym. Lore states that Kera is the off-spring of an Ice and Fire Dragon (not Vox and Naggy) and that Naggy and Vox were locked away from eachother before they too could bare an off-spring as the other two had done.

Actually lore states that Kerafyrm is the offspring of a crystal dragon and a magic dragon, thus creating the prismatic dragon we all know and love. Might want to refresh your lore before telling someone else to.

Actually I think its pretty obvious that Kerafyrm is the son/daughter of Lord Nagafen and Lady Vox. One thing you will notice if you ever wake The Sleeper (kerafyrm).
When waking the sleeper you will hear Lord Nagafen shout "At last we are free, Our child has been released!" or something of the sorts.. Laday Vox also shouts the same thing

when you are over 52 and go into the ladys cavern area does she instantly kill you or port you to a diff area?
with high resist can you resist the port/kill?
roughly how much hp does she have?
is it possible for a 52 uber shaman to solo her using a good technique?
i am gonna try to kill her at 52 when i get all my 51 aa points and some good gear anyone want to come kill her and rez me after i die?

Vox has been soloed before by at least a monk. There is a video of it that is supposively authentic. I've never personally experienced it.
She will instantly banish anyone over level 52 within a certain range of her as soon as she aggroes. This used to be to a random location I though but when it recently happened to my party doing BL epic we were all sent to just outside permafrost. We were repeatedly banished always to that point.
As a suggestion to the AA thing. It's be probably easier and faster to actually go beyond 52 and get AA's on one of the higher tiered planes than to try to max them all at level 52. If your sole reason for trying is to solo Vox or Naggy then just sacrifice yourself to a necro to bring your level down to a point where you can try. heh. That way you'd make a nice chunk of platinum AND have access to higher leveled AA's. At least until they decide to somehow nerf those as well.

The monk happened to be named Tecknoe Destructo, an uber twink iksar monk, soloed both naggy and vox in the same week. And yes the video is authentic. I watched him kill Naggy about a week ago on the Promethian Order website.

I have heard rumors that a 52 that attacks Vox will be ported out due to the max level being 52 to be in a raid party. Is there any truth to this?

Raided Lady Vox for my first time Yesterday. We had 3 groups. She was tuffer than Naggy but just as much fun. I have decided not to Level anymore until I can get those 2 book peices for my epic. I went in as part of the second group and got on her right side and began beating on her for a measily 120-150 pts. She never even looked at me. I had told the Cleric and back up healers in my group to really watch me when she was at 50% life cause I knew I would need heals when I started chain stunning.so she hit 50% and the leader Announced for Chain stuns. I had 4 stuns going one right afer another, by the time #4 hit her she had indeed turned on me. And as i watched my life dwindle and to 20% I was worried cause she was still around 30%. then the C-heal hit me and i was back to 100% for a millionth of a second and i was back to 76%. I continued my chain stuns, not really knowing what everyone else was doing. I just had to stay and hit her between stuns. Me at 6% life and C-Heal again. she was under 10%, and thats when she got mean. I do not know what she did but I went from 83% to 4% in what seemed like one blow. I was sure I was dead again and I saw my cleric announce "OOM Watch Khayjames's Life." I knew then I was dead but The Big Lady fell instead. The leader asked for a death report and all were alive, until the Icy terror poped. He grabed the first bard he saw sitting and dispatched him easily. i was only around 20% cause it was so close to the vox fight and most healers were OOM. I ran in on the icy and again was taken to less than 10% before it died. So my advice to you is do not think your fight is over when Vox is dead. Confirm the perimiter of her area also. All in all it was a success. She dropped 2 dragon bone bracers the mystic pouch the eyepatch and the RBB. I got a Dragon bone on a roll. I was one of only 2 pallys in the raid so i wanted the book. but again no such luck on that drop.

Word of advice. If you stop leveling in order to obtain both halves of the book, you are going to be 52 for a very very long time. I'd recommend you level instead. I can appriciate doing the epic quest just for the sake of it, but the weapon is crap compared to droppable weapons these days. And, you can MQ the books if you really want the epic.

Well here on Tunare there is a community that regularly kills both dragons and keeps a database of who attends and really the books only take 10-15 raids on average. So maybe 3 or so months if not less to get both, if you regularly raid them when they are up.

This is more of a warning than any sort of tactic.
Last weekend we went to Permafrost to do one of the Totems for the BL epic. Cleared to Vox's room and dropped down into the pits. Started to clear the pits for the turn in and suddenly I'm loading and have a frozen screen of Vox staring me in the face.
We had two groups with only 4 folks below 52. They were pretty much instantly dead. We're still not sure what happened. Noone in our group admits to entering her throne room so I don't know if someone else aggroed her and she banished us or what.
One item of note. We tracked for Vox when we got into the zone. We checked again when we got closer. She was NOT on track (either ranger or druid) so I'm not sure what that's about either. I had had a similiar experience before but that time someone DID go into her throne room and she was on track the whole time.
Anyhow long story short we had to summon the corpses out because everytime one of us dropped into the bits she banished us again.

If anyone on Fennin Ro would like to kill her and Naggy, PLEASE "/t wurd I WANT IN". I need two clerics, and a tank or two to finish off the group//groups needed. Really want to kill both of them before guild tasks force me to pass 52! I'm on EVERY night after 11pm Central, usually sooner.

OK i just have to do a little ******** about Vox/Naggy....WERE THE HELL IS THE CLERIC LOOT?!?!?!?! these may be old world dragons but the melee items are still good and abundent. while the cleric loots are just LAME... a 2hb with only 9 wis LOL my Paw gives me that. Is it simply the fact that everyone has stupid rules for rolling on items or what? So my cleric cant use an item, or its be decided that its only good for melee, maybe that weight redux bag is nicer for monks, but my butt was still on the line healing that tank so we can drop those dragons i want a shot at some good loot. I am begining to see why people say its hard to get clerics on Naggy/Vox raids. I wont be going again unless a guildie needs something, or i am damn sure upfront i will be given a shot at rolling.

ok i lead many vox/naggy raids and it sounds so pathetic but i have only been successful once on each of them - ot of 3 raids on each of them. to anyone who finds these dragons easy please tell me how you do it - with so many people unable to follow instructions at this level it has become a chore and i want those books to get epic. send me an email or a tell on TT - thanx all.

Aluho send me a tell in game on eci server. I play Eeck and Dulcinea on a regular basis. Currently I co-lead Public Vox raids and may be able to give you some pointers. Or if you so chose e-mail me. Good luck and dont' give up!

I Have rolled on this item at public raids everytime it drops and I ALWAYS roll under 100 ,lol it sucks, i want that belt and i WILL have it....

Like 1 hour ago me (51 Rogue) and 2 Friends 51 Cleric and 52 Warrior did this lady with a 63 Druid and 56 Shammy as buffer
Was hard and toke time, but we got her...
drops : Spear x2 , Pal Epic Book and RBB witch i happyly got coz i didnt have a haste item (Borrowed the Clerics CoF)
Easy kill if you have the right people for it :) so go get her guys ... shes not as scary as she looks :p

Wow just watched that movie. I think he had a fungi tunic and a sceptre of destruction. Can tell what the other stick was that he was using. any ideas?

I would like to share my first experience with Lady Vox. I am a Lvl 50 Pali...with barely enough exp to get me to 50. We had 5 groups and were ready to go....in go the MTs....and then the call for all others...
I run in...I run out.....I run it...am dispelled of some buffs....I run out. I run in...beat on her for about 6 swipes....I run out..(and for those that havent figured it out...I am being feared). On the 4th run in...she is at 28%. At this point, my sole purpose was to Lay Hands on the main tank in our group. I start to cast, I run out. Fear wears off, I run back...I hear Lady Vox is dead, I fall into a pit. I die.
I am now in POK. I am a level lower and the corpse retrieval process begins. After about 45 minutes, I see a do you want to rezzed for 96%. Of course I do...and DING, I am 50 again.
I am now looting my body and the rolling for the belt that gives 33% haste begins. I roll. An 87...I think wooohoooo. Then I look at the others, 45, 23, 67...thinking again woohooo. Then it happens...99. DOH!
So all in all. I am running like a little girl, falling in pits, loosing rolls and being harassed by my bud. Will I do it again. You bet! Still had a fantastic time and am giggling about it still

Being a newbie on my one and only Dragon raid I was wondering why no-one asked the Druids to DOT her? I did as I was told, being a 46 Druid I was asked to heal and I did. Things went very bad and lots died but the Necro was able to summon the corpses and we/I only lost some xp. Not a nice experience but I still want to know why Druids were not asked to DOT? I wondered this after we were rez'ed and after the raid broke up. Wondering aloud here and wondering if anyone knows?
Probably a bit late but its probably because of the huge amounts of agro that dots can cause. Not sure if you were used as a secondary healer, but if this was the case it would probably be to stop from you getting summoned but not entirely sure bro

This is to Answer the post posed to Byelka by Edontulate.
The make-up of the Group is Fairly simply. (BTW, we've now been able to kill both Vox + Nag with only 4 people. Tank, Bard + 2 clerics.) The only, ONLY, high level buffer we have there helping is a 60 Shammy, who is two boxed. and generally only there for the buffing. Has attempted in the past to land slows and other spells but gets banished with no effect. Heard rumors others have tried the same and managed to get a spell to land. Not recently though.
Tank, 52 Ogre Warrior, wearing mostly Fierce Heraldic (Rallos Zek) and wearing 2 Bloodmetal earrings of Engagement, 2 Valorium Rings, a CoF, and quite a bit of other rather good Gear, Epicced. So yes, the Tank is Twinked.
Bard is a regular, and since he doesn't get in the fight, we're not sure what he's wearing. Suffice to say he sits there and twists while the tank kicks butt.
1 of the 2 Clerics is Mine 52 Dorf (Byelka Being the other, High Elf) and is epicced, and wearing quite a bit of underfoot plate. So yes rather twinked. I'm not sure how badly twinked Byelka is, i think she's a main. So not twinked at all. Since Neither cleric sees combat, i doubt it matters.
The Tank is the Anchor. She is "The Key" so to speak. Her MR without Bard song is 200+ that's with buffs, she has a couple insty cast right clickies she uses to prevent the debuffing that occurs from Both dragon's AE. also keep a couple crap buffs memmed on the cleric while doing Vox (She likes to cast Annul) as well as Extinguish Fatigue. Her unbuffed AC is 1165, and HP's 3562, MR is 164. Bard twists Vah Shir over-cap haste, MR/FR/CR song and haste. and sit outside the AE though close enough for the tank to get the effects.
Dead Dragon. Dragon loot split 4 ways. Greed Rolls between us all every kill. So one of us could potentially win a CoF + RBB (or better) in a single day. We're Prolly the few people around that Smile when we see a patch message. Or our server crashes :D
Occasionally something will go wrong. it's not perfect. Occasionally, VERY rarely, our tank will get feared (usually for 2-3 seconds) which gets our cleric or bard summoned which can cause problems. 90% of the time we adjust and make corrections to try to prevent it from happening again. or when we first started doing this, Wipe out. :P (This usually happens when Naggy has his Tash Wand, Vox is cake.)
Anyhow. It feasible, and if yer willing to invest the time, can be worth the pp in the long run.
G'Luck to those who try, it's a long road, but the rewards are worth it

as of tecknoe destructoes log (the guy who soloed vox/naggy) vox has 32073 hitpoints.
The level cap should be removed. I realize there are still new players joining everquest so late in it's life, but EQ2 is nearing release and pretty much everyone on every server is in the high end game now. That makes vox, and nagafen almost up 24/7. I realize they would be *farmed* but as a bard when your only option for your epic piece is gorenaire or paying the plat to buy one, it rather stinks. Because gorenaire is farmed too.
The only reason I can think it shouldn't be removed is to keep the farmers away, and to give sub 52 players a goal in lower level raids.

If farming is the issue why not use the trivial loot code on anything that isn't no drop. That would stop farming.

Heck you should bring your noobie friends with you so they can watch you kill Vox in one hit.

I heard that you have to be below a certain level, or else she will port you out of reach of her. I was just curious. Thanks.
Not fun, she's lvl 55 so one or 2 group lvl 50 55 must be able to kill her, i never killed her and i am already not allowed to kill her bahhhh /sigh
You heard correctly. Lady Vox party members need to be levels 46-52. Lower lvls can join in the battle but will last at most 10 seconds. Higher lvls can help with the buffin in the buff hall but they can not enter the liar of the great lady. She knows a true threat when she sees one and will grant access to her liar by those only lower than level 53. Anyone else not need apply for access to her liar.

Cap is 52 on her and naggy and the both will pop a week after they are killed... Also if your server get rset they will pop.
