Uploaded July 24th, 2007

The Priest of Nagefen is a Fire Giant, who seems to be on some diplomatic mission to the Lady Vox. He is a cleric, and can cast complete heal.

Ok has anyone else noticed this...

Vox and Naggy are on same Faction, They both have banishment rule, and they both have similar Zone level structures ( mobs, Zone layout, ect.)
If anyone can awnser this question please do so, because this is just more proof to the fact that theres somthing odd between the 2 dragons.

Last nite we raided vox. On the pull every giant came with her including the Priet of Nagafen. Somehow we managed to survive the massive train and even kill Vox in the end. Vox herself came in and bashed a few heads, then warped back to her room and started summoning people and killing em 1 by 1. So we rushed her and killed her. Good job on hosting Unseelie Court of bristlebane.

Besides the obvious: That he's a diplomat sent by Nagafen to check on his lover, Vox... I would think because it throws a wrinkle into the situation when you're pulling the giants into prep. Nukers would tend to have fire based nukes up and so having a level 52 mob completely resistant to fire based nukes would require a "little" more thinking on their part. It introduces that variable factor that Verant always has so things don't get so easy.

Hehe, you are one to criticize...

I'll let you in on a little secret. Go back to school. Take all of the English composition and grammar classes you can. Learn to structure your sentences, including punctuation where appropriate. Spelling words correctly would be a plus as well.

When you have all of that down, come back and post. People still won't give a damn about what you have to say! At least you won't look as ignorant doing so.

I can think of one example of someone with perfect grammer, spelling and so on. Its you. You think that people will ignore them, because you have done all you said and people ignore you. The reason that you are ignored is because of your ignorance: you are pedantic, not everyone is as gifted with language as you. Simmer down. Go.

I understood those who were 'ignorant'.

Hugs and kisses:

Ok as of recently according to sony's listing a players complete heal heals for exactly 10,000 hp.. Vox has her own personal complete heal and a wierd lay on hands thing she does.. All Dragons also come with build in dragon fear which is extreamly hard to resist since it is based on levels. So everyone rolls random 1 400 and hope u get lucky. Anyways if u wanna know how to find out what all your spells are and what level there is a neat little program called EQ caster and you can get it at this website : www.eqcaster.com.. also all the spell listings are written by Sony so they do work..

Dragon Fear isn't hard to resist...Recently on a vox raid I was feared a whopping 3 times...WOW!

# Jul 25 2001 at 8:14 AM Rating: Decent
3 times is pretty bad, first time I went on a Naggy raid, I was rushed into going and didn't have my resist gear. Needless to say, I was feared twice and Naggy's AE fire nuke pretty much finished me off before the battle started. But, every Naggy/Vox raid I've been on since, I have never been feared, and the AE's just scratch my health. With 80+ MR and FR or CR unbuffed, you should be fine for the two old world dragons, I usually have unbuffed around mid 90's MR and around 120 CR or FR when I raid them.

a MR of 200 is not hard to obtain and with it will will likely resist all fears from this dragon....the AE DD is harder to resist

On my last naggy raid as a lvl 51 warrior i wasn't feared at all. i Only took 3AoE's, level resist is everything. the raid before that i was lvl 47 and resisted fear most times, so level really does make the difference.

we know this is not vox, that's why we want to know what the loot is
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 21 2002 at 12:40 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) If you go to the Lady Vox page you will see what she drops. Thats normally the way this website works or any for that matter. You want to find out what loot an npc drops you go to that specific npc and search. Asking what loot drops from her in this section shows a bit of retardedness. Thats like going to naggy lair and asking what naggy drops under a greater kobold shaman.

Considering they were asking what drops from the priest, and not off of Vox, they're oddly enough in the right place. ;-)

Complete heal heals 10000 hp.
#REDACTED, Posted: May 06 2001 at 3:12 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Then name of the spell is complete heal which means that it completely heals you whethere you have 2 total HP or 50000 total HP. Complete Heal completely heals!
RE: Complete Heal
# Apr 25 2002 at 7:14 AM Rating: Decent
Sorry buddy, but you are wrong !
Complete Heal does heal only 10 000 hp.
Why is it named complete heal and not awful huge heal ? Because there is no know player with more than 10k hp so for us it is indeed a complete heal. But if you ever spent some time in high level velious zones you know that monster CH does not heal completely. A ToV dragon for instance will normal gain from a CH just around a fourth or third in hitpoints

Well, if you've read up on the past of giants, I don't think they die through old age. They all originated on Antonica, created by Rallos Zek. Because they and ogres tried to break into the Earth Plane, they were wiped out by the other gods. Because of this, they were spread out throughout the world. Even though they're used to certain climates, they can still adapt. Ice Giants were probably just Hill Giants until they were captured on Kunark, etc. However, this is just my hypothetis
Ummm, he's a fire giant
# Mar 05 2000 at 7:03 PM Rating: Decent
Ummm, hey Sendalia, the priest of nagafen is a fire giant that resides in Vox's Lair. Not ice giant. But, you are correct about the healing. always helps to have some extra groups take the giants out while the majority of the army is messin with vox.
BTW, wouldn't this guy get kinda cold? Being born in a volcanic cave and all, he can't be used to these temps.

you would think, however, he lives in perma with vox(naggy and vox are brother-sister)
RE: wrong zone
# Jun 05 2001 at 5:24 AM Rating: Default
Ahhh, naggy and vox aren't brother and sister. they can't be because dragons aren't allowed to mate unless they are the same color. 2 dragons did that and the result was the sleeper in sleepers tomb. There's no way 2 same-colored dragons would give birth to a red and a white dragon. Naggy and vox are actually lovers(I know that sounds a little funny). They wanted to mate but the dragon council(ring of scale) would not allow it. This fire giant is probably just delivering a love letter to vox that naggy wrote...=\
RE: wrong zone
# Oct 04 2001 at 11:37 PM Rating: Excellent
Actually, both you guys who replied are wrong, and the original poster is wrong also. Nagafen and Lady vox were wanting to mate, but the elder dragons did not want another sleeper (as kerafym is in sleeper's tomb) so they were inprisoned. nagafen to his lair and vox to hers. that is why they are seperated. if they were to mate again, there would be another kerafym they would have to imprison. and we wouldn't want 2 zones the same would we??!! haha.
RE: wrong zone
# Aug 27 2001 at 4:05 AM Rating: Default
I guess you don't know your dragon lure. Any 2 dragons can mate, the color of the offspring is random, a blue and a green could have a red. They don't go by the color wheel...
RE: wrong zone
# Feb 05 2002 at 2:27 PM Rating: Default
where the F*ck did you get your dragon lore from.... cerial box? dragons can mate with any color they choose, but 99% of the time they dont interbreed. Thier offspring is not radom, 75% of the tyme its either one color or the other of the parents when interbreeding, 20% chance that it will be a cross, and bout 10% of a chance it will be a Jabberwaky aka malformed dragon with incredible psionic ability. These deformed dragons very rarely make it past birth, couse they are considered as a abomination and destroyed at before birth.

let me get this straight.. you are arguing about dragon lore....?
does anyone else find something wrong with this?
If dragons existed there MIGHT be something to argue about.. but arguing about things that dont and never have existed just seems sorta.. pointless..

Well considering they're arguing about Everquest dragon lore, and and dragons DO exist within Everquest, no it's not pointless.

Now. This is the story of Vox, Naggy, Kerafyrm (The Sleeper) as I have learned it:

A long time ago, there were no rules in place about the mating of dragons. At some point, two dragons of different colors mated. These two were NOT Vox or Nagafen. The offspring of these two nameless dragons was Kerafyrm, aka the Sleeper.

Kerafyrm rose to be a great general, and very powerful. Unfortunately he also began to go insane and became hellbent on destroying all of Norrath. Because he was such a danger, and because of the rule in place that no dragon shall ever kill another dragon (a result of a war between the factions that left the dragon race decimated, I believe), Kerafyrm was locked away beneath Velious in the Sleeper's Tomb, to sleep eternally and keep Norrath at peace.

At some point, Vox and Nagafen decided they wanted to follow in the footsteps of the OTHER pair who created Kerafyrm, and create a SECOND prismatic dragon.

The Ring of Scale, of whom Vox and Nagafen were members, forbade it. When they either made plans to, or attempted to mate, despite the fact that it was forbidden, the Ring of Scale exiled Vox to Permafrost Keep, and Nagafen to his lair.

It is said, and I haven't experienced it first hand, that when Kerafyrm is awakened on a server, Vox and Nagafen say something to the effect of "And now our long-awaited nuptuals may be achieved!" Nuptuals meaning marriage/mating, and this implies that they have not been married/mated yet.

I have my own idea as to why Vox and Nagafen would want to mate, but this is long enough to get the point across. Anyone wanting to discuss dragon lore can give me a tell in-game or drop me an email.

acually, they are brother/sister and THEY are the dragons that mated to make the sleeper (red dragon+white dragon= pink dragon) that is why they are on antonica and not veeshan...they defied the ring of scale...(btw don't be lame and flame my spelling...feel free to flame nething else tho :)

true naggy vox did mate and created sleeper (kerafyrm) if u would look at the (supposed) screenshot of sleeper then u would see he is not pink but he is kind of see through like velious ice and naggy and vox are not brother sister but lovers end of story seperated from each other in some of the furthest parts of antonica the nagafen giants is fire not ice based btw u are getting it mixed up

you are not truly dead until so have been to the shadows

He's a Ice Giant that hits for a lot! 200+. There's also another named Ice Giant called Ice Giant Priest. Nothing like 2 ice giants completely healing Vox. I doubt its a complete heal... maybe 5000hp heal.

And yes, they can be trained to zone!
