Solo/Tanked magus, diplomat and ice giant at the same time with 56 cleric, magus was dark blue. the ginat wooly spider behind him put up more of a fight.
I fought this guy with groups.. he is not weak. And he does have a lot of hp. And hits for 50-100's with triples and doubles so he isnt easy to melee. And even with my 99 mr lots of his spells still worked against me so he is not a weak mob. Plus you gotta put up with the other IG next to him.
I think there are some that are higher than lvl 50, as level 50 mobs can't summon, only lvl 51+ can summon, and I've been summoned by Ice Giants quite a few times
These are 'an ice giant magus' not magi. and hes right a lot of these can summon. I would put these ice giants that are past the diplomat at 38-51. They are a wide variety so pointless to camp, but in terms of difficulty think chardok meets mobs that hit hard and consistent.
Not really, a well balanced group can easily take out a solo caster. Warrior with high resist, aggros the MOB, cleric with complete heal can keep the warrior up, your wizard burns the caster , your enchanter sucks the mana out of him, use a shaman to debuff along with your enchanter. People kill these guys all the time. No different than any other level 50 caster you can encounter.
Or you could get decent resist gear and just take this guy out like a normal mob.
If you break out the frog crown and diamond equipment wizards are pusses. They have half the hps warrior mobs this level have so just kick their *** with high resist gear on. Yes at this level you should have 2 sets of gear. One for normal adventuring and one for caster mobs. I'm not talking sham mobs, they hardly cast at all. I'm talking wiz/mage/druid mobs. they usually do nothing but cast.
