Killed this guy today, dropped couple of fabled bracers, regular SOT, couple of fabled torques, fabled bow, and 5 spells...but also dropped the Starred Yttrium Ring which is not listed in his loot table (but is on the regular Inquisitor)

We (81 ranger, 95 druid & 95 sk) killed Fabled LIS last night around 2330 4/16/12 on Prexus/ Rathe. He dropped the Fabled Sword of Truth, Fabled Bow of Storms, Fabled Glowing Amber band, and each of their non fabled equivalents, plus 3-4 spells off the normal Seru's loot table, and most importantly (to me) the Ornate Chain Bridle (woot!!). He also dropped additional loot off the normal Seru's loot table. Safe to say the loot list here can be lengthened to include everything the normal Seru drops. I think I might have caught the last spawn for him this season, which makes this ranger pretty stoked. :)

I have Seru's spawn time at roughly and I say roughly

3 1/2 days after normal death.

About 1 1/2 after server restart...

I don't think these are quite accurate, because he seemed to spawn earlier than these, so maybe even 2 1/2 days on normal death and even just 1 day after server restart.

On a side note,

Very Easy nowadays, was using a wide array of people to kill him, but actually getting the bane weapons is a moot point nowadays, its best to just have casters burn him down (95 necro destroyed the *******) and keep him tanked.. I literally sat in his room for days/weeks camping him (about 3-4 times he spawned and I killed him 2 times...) so I could get a close estimate of his spawn time and be there when he did spawn.

1st time I killed him
2 fabled bows, 1 fabled torque and sword of truth (...not fabled..weak)

2nd time
Don't remember rest of loot... but there was a fabled sword of truth :)

During this Fabled season I wanted to try my luck to see this guy up. Used the key, ran to his room..lo and behold - he wasn't up. So, as the goonies from the hallway and in the room attacked me and as I fought back...I see the non-fabled version shout, "Who dares enter my Sanctum?" Puzzled and panicked, I backed up as he rushed me. I gated out and thought this to be very odd. I gated back in using the key and brought my husband along (who is a Bard) and he checked track; The Fabled Lord Inquisitor Seru.

I'll be damned.

Excited, and I'll admit, still a little panicked, I finally found him up! So we both buffed up and went for it with our T5 mercenaries. 30 - 45 minutes go by, a few lucky rounds, and the mercenaries casting complete heal at the same time, I (the tank/paladin) hit the ground. First attempt got him down to 88%. No Bane weapons used. He just used his fabled pet weapon and self procs to get him down THAT far. Mercenaries were not hurting for mana.

Attempt number two. I brought in my brother's warrior. Also no bane weapons. Just his fabled pet weapon. He had a T1 cleric mercenary. So it was:

85 Paladin (me) 41.5k hp, 5.4k AC (with warrior aura and bard songs) 30/33 in both defensives, max shielding/avoidance and geared in T5 SoD group armor
85 Bard (with fabled pet proccy weapon and dressed very similar to me)
80 warrior (also with his fabled pet proccy weapon.
And 3 cleric mercenaries. Two T5, one T1. One T5 was on reactive, the other two were on efficient.

Seru's hit range was lowest 760 and ranged all the way to 3600 with a LOT of flurries and lucky rounds. If he would've rampaged, I don't think this would've been possible. All mercs were at full mana the entire fight while the bard pushed the Damage shield as far as it would go while pumping Grubbers. I was also patch healing myself, kept up Preservation of Tunare rk. II and popping my third spire every chance I got. It was a rough fight that lasted two and a half hours, but we finally dropped him and a very happy warrior got his fabled sword.

Hope this helps anyone willing to try him with no nuker and no bane weapon wielders =)

Took out Fabled Seru today with 85SK and 85 Mage plus 2 T-5 cleric mercs.

SK has 5K AC unbuffed with sword/board max shielding/avoid and is combination of SoD gear, OMM raid and SoD cultural + last bloods equipped. Mage has ~ 24K mana and was essentially OOM by the end. For some reason mage's cleric merc did not seem to be doing anything - tried switching her between modes to no avail, but fortunately SK's merc did fine with a combo of efficient, balanced and reactive modes depending on status of the hp bar. SK never got below 30% HP; sorry forgot to check for Seru's damage hit range.

Fight lasted about 30 minutes, had one trash add at the beginning.
SK's pet/pets and mage's pet/pets were the primary damage dealers. Landed tash but no malosinete (or variation thereof, forgot to cast Malo). Fire occasionally landed, didn't try much magic.
SK's poison dots usually landed along with disease, but no dice with HP taps including Bond HoT. Magic highly if not entirely resisted by Seru.

Dropped Fabled Sword of Truth (what I was after and had been working myself up for since last year when I could not take down Fabled Seru with 1 T-5 cleric merc and 1 T-1 (same Mage's)), Black Ornate Bridle, and other miscellaneous. The defensive AA's from latest expansion seem to have helped, along with 500 increase in AC, and increase in mage's pet power with AA's.

i did him with 2 groups of friends the other day and he did not have rampage. just flurry. I'm 100% certain. we even set up ramp rank because of this webpage but he never once ramped.

maybe something changed since 2007 fableds

The way in is using an item called "arx key". You right click it and it teleports your group (from any zone) into his section of the map where he is. It's the only way in.

The old sword wasn't equipable for a reason.
It was way overpowered.
Put that in the hands of a PC, and everyone would complain, and it would get nerfed.
So guess what?
They slightly pre-nerfed it.
Still best look in game, IMHO.

im very interested in the Fabled Bow of Storms and i want to know more about this fabled creature. since he have Fabled Stunning Strike and can rampage, is an assistant tank necessary? and how much hp does the tank need to survive long enough for CHeal?how long did it take to kill him with 2 group ? appreciate answers...

The fights took 30 odd people to kill him when max level was 75 from my experience. I formed about 4 raids and managed to kill him twice. His sword only dropped about 2 times max on our server if that from what I know.

    Any general info on him? Such as:

    Took 12 people, one cleric and druid wiped badly.

    Rampage tank NEEDED. Hits MT for 2200 max, will rampage and resists slows a lot. Dot can be cured make sure your ready for it. Kill adds in his room (around where you'll fight him) first.

    Bring 3-4 clerics to be safe. (3 required imo)

    the hp/mana isnt that great, but for a 1hs the ratio is pretty decent (compare to paladin 1hs BoFF from anguish 71/32) , plus it has 10 human bane AND 10 cold dmg (lots of NPCs are designated as humanoid) and it has the 1hs skill mod. not too shabby, but the hp sucks..

    too bad its prim only too

    they are the EXACT same hp and mana as the non-fabled items.
    this has gotta be a mistake, i would highly suggest using /bug and /feedback , in hopes that a Dev will correct this.
