Today i fell off the boat to Firiona Vie in Timorous Deep. I swam from there to the island with shuttles to Oasis of Marr and took my swimming skill from 7 to 49. As I ran back to North Ro on my way to catch the boat again I saw the derv camp and thought I'd have a go at Dorn again. I'm now an un-twinked 22lvl Paladin. He'd killed me at lvl 20 previously. He conn'd light blue to me so i shot him with an arrow. I have all my skills maxed and had Holy Armour, Centre, Reckless strength and yaulp cast on me. My equipment is nothing special. He started hitting me hard but then i got in a few good hits. Anyway i was on one bubble of health and just about to LOH when he started running...ha! Then it was easy pickings and I grinned as he was my first named kill and I'd had my revenge. Now come on Kizdean Gix...hehe. Only got a beaded necklace though. So, in a previous post someone said that the spectres are easier...is this so? I'd like to try but not wanting to die out of curiosity.

As a LVL 30 NECRO I have a hard time with this guy. I find the specs in Oasis to be easier. I had my pet (dark blue) with 2 Finely Crafter Shan Tok in his hands, plus I am a bit of a twink (Blackened Crystalline, 2 Batskulls, Spirit Tome, Tome of the Eternal, Sarnak Cerimonial Dagger, plus more) And He resisted Engulfing Darkness, Dooming Darkness, Never even partially resisted a Shock of Poison, partial resists on Spihon Soul (or whatever the 29 lifetap is called) and Disease Cloud. Pet survived with 50 % HP's, Me at 20 % HP's (a good portion used from Allure of Death and Shadow Compact). Point is, NO LVL 14 to 19 CAN SOLO THIS GUY. DON'T CARE HOW TWINKED YOU ARE. DON'T CARE IF YOU HAD A LVL 60 CLERICS BUFFS ON YOU. Simple truth:

Your offensive skills are not nearly as high as his defensive skills.

Your defensive is not as high as his attack.

You don't have the HP's he does.

He is a rogue, they have a much higher damage output at this lvl than many Warriors, SK's.

His Magic Resist is stronger than you would think. If he is resisting lvl 29 spells, your lvl 12 spells are not going to do better.

At some point that lvl 60 Cleric will run oom from healing you doomed carcass and will need to med. You will soon see LOADING, PLEASE WAIT.....

Please, don't say you have soloed him at 14 or so. It didn't happen unless someone had him down to 20% hp and died and you got lucky to finsih him off quick. Wait, that wouldn't happen either cause once someone either FD or dies, the HP on the mob gets reset. Hmmm..... Looking hard for anyone in the teens to solo him, isn't it?

For those of you capable of killing him, here's the easiest way I found. Send in your pet (necros) and cast on his punk **** till he croaks. Shock of Poison and Lifetap and Disease cloud once, Heart Flutter if possible, but if he resists the first time, don't bother. It's that easy. Just have sow on cause he is fast.

i know a level 16 who said DORN coned dark blue to him and got killed with easy this guy had plenty of good armour and a really good weapon and he still got brutally killed!!!

hello everyone i would like to ad my story or 2 cents i have a 15lvl druid and i coned dorn and he was dark blue i tried to use snare and root but he resisted i was hitting him with ignite and that was working some what i have 316ac and 399hp i was full mana and full hp when i started the fight with him when i use ignite it hits with 37 damage i had sow could have ran butt i stayed just to see how much damage i could inflic on dorn after he killed me he still had 60% of his health maybe if i tried kiteing him if snare and root would ever work i could probably take him down oh one more thing dorn when he hit me and it was often he was hitting no lower then 24 and no higher than 32 hits of damage if anyone can give me advice on how to kill dorn in a much better way or maybe i used the wrong spell i have stinging swarm maybe i should have used that i dont know any ideas would be welcome as for everyone who wrote there story in on dorn i think that it depends on the class and race and what that person has as far as buffs or spells if u r a caster and if u had others helping which makes a differance and what type of armor were u wearing and what was your hp and ac depend alot on if u going to beat dorn down or if dorn going to beat u down so i think some of the storys could be true and the others full of SH** any ways thats my story and my experiance with fighting dorn bottom line i got my a** handed to me and that sucks and **** me off i cant wait to get stronger cause eventually i will get my revenge on dorn

I dont think he is a undercon as everone is saying. My opinion is that he has a very high agility and a high magic resistence. Mainly I beleve this is becouse that I have a lvl 26 paly and i took him on. I beat him of course but barly becouse he defended alot of my attacks but when i did hit him i hit him for like 40 - 48 pts of damage. As far as magic goes i also have a 23 druid and he resisted my dizzing wind spell, but as far as my careless lightning spell and my snare and stinging swarm spells they worked. so none the less my lvl 23 druid did better than my lvl 26 paly. he may have a high agility but hes magic resistance is not as high as his agility. This is why i beleve that he is not nessesarly a undercon. But i could Also could be wrong.

Ok first off all of you saying that you soloed this guy at 16-15 and omg 14 are full of crap.. evon if your a supper twink umm no you did not.. this guy will be hiting you for 30-40 wille you hiting 29 max and casters helo he will resist just about every darn spell you cast on him.. i am a sk twinked very very twinked.. and i am very good at this game. pvp all day long.. but any way i tryed 56946 times from lvl 14-16 heck ok -2o to kill this jerck and could not get it done.. and we sk are one of the best.. "Not the best one of the best" solo class out there.. he is a mager undercon from what iv seen and not just me fighting him iv seen all class other than wiz try to solo him at 14-16 heck ok 20 and every one of them got there butts kicked good..

In shourt plz stop posting you bull sh** lies.. no one that knows a darn thing about this gme will know better..

Oh ya and the mager mr thing.. bs iv hade a lvl 20 enc cast t on him 7 times once and the darn guy still resist the hell out of me.. them too..

Well, I am currently a lvl 24 paladin on the Cazic-Thule server and i tried taking dorn down at 24 last time i was at NRo. Bad idea. He conned light blue to me, and yet he would hit me for 30-40 damage, NON-STOP. That was how he hit me when he conned yellow to me, too. No change in damage. So, i did the senseable thing and ran (this guy is slow when your not overweight, outrun him easily). Yes, i could have used my Lay Hands and died like a man, but i didnt want to waste it on an undercon. So, all you lvl 24 and belows, BEWARE THE DORN, unless you are confident in your skills in taking him down for good.

This dork killed my lvl 15 paladin everytime i got close. Wasnt even a contest. Only time i killed him was with another paladin, a shaman, and a cleric. I dont care what anybody says about him underconning, even with my twinked paladin, he still kicked the crap out of everybody (but we won). i killed him 4 times that night and he didnt drop anything but some silver.

Since noone knows what lvl he is i will just have to go to north ro and kill the stupid little dark with my lvl 14 twinked like hell warrior.

I am a lvl 16 Halfling Druid and I was wondrring if I could solo this guy or need tog roup with a caster. Please someone help me!

This guy is really weak, i dont understand why you all think he is so hard. I started killing him at 16. As a magician all i did was /pet guard here near docks, then i ran over and pulled dorn, ran back and let pet beat on him. 4 nukes and it was over with and pet was about 50 percent.

I am a lvl 18 warrior..i was wondering if i could solo this guy... or would i need a caster to help? i have heard that he is really undercon ..
