I farmed the area (NW corner of the zone) for a couple nites killing every drake and saw nothing. Then focused only on Skyrake area on the top of the mountain. Suggestion: it's easier just leaving Skyrake alone and killing the drakes surrounding him. I cleaned out the highland drakes for a few then camped for the night. Next day when i logged in I saw this little guy where one of the drakes used to be. I don't know the exact location but if you know where Skyrake is (Because this guy is up all the time)kill the drakes by his side. They are PH's. By the way, have DMF or SoE on because if you aggro Skyrake you'll be in for the RIDE of YOUR LIFE!:)
OT, but.....what was your strat for clearing the drakes around Skyrake? We could clear almost all of them, but there was one that did not wander and every time we pulled it, we got the Skyrake ride ;) We're trying to get rid of him because he's taking out our healers, etc., while we're trying to fight Skyrake himself....

I tried several times at the upper springs camp on the plateau between Fiddleback and Mistwalker with no luck at all.
I found this guy up twice on the other side of the zone in the NW part of the zone just south of the goo pools and north of the wizard spire. He spawns near Skyrake and I think any of the normal drakes up on that plateau can be his PH.
is there a specific ph for this mob? or just random any drake? or does it spawn on a timer? any help would be apreciated as ive yet to see him after spending a fair bit of time in this area. Thanks
guessing as it just drops its head, like most other breath weapon quest mobs and it is not much harder than non named version. my drakkin is only lvl 59, but Razorfang was the lvl 60 mob, this should be the lvl 65 mob.
