I saw him once with the scythe AND a rapier. This would suggest the harvestor, since all other sycthes are 2hs. The fact he is a shadowknight would be irrelevant since many creatures drop items that technically they can't use. However, "be careful" states he got HT twice. No mob that i know of ht's twice. They appear to obey the same rules as the rest of us sk's in this respect (as an example you can soak up the HT of the ritualist, in cazic-thule, then fd and heal some (okay, okay, it was monk that did this!) and carry on fighting him, free of the fear of taking another harm touch).
Anyway, back to my point, which is that no mob can HT you twice (as far as i know). It seems to me that being smitten is often mistaken for HT (i hae seen posts here referring to multi ht's, but i know they meant smite spells). The point here is that sk's can't smite. Perhaps he is a hybrid of a hybrid? Anyway, i probably wrong. People have killed him (i checked him out today and he no longer had a rapier, although that would have been lost in the patch wouldn't it??). Anyway, i'm at the point where, as the man says "I just gots t'know" (once i'm high enough)... only problem is i just know he's gonna come back at me and pull the trigger...

man being a 48 mage I thought i could take him - I used to kill the gouls back in the necro guild and I always wondered what wepon degarran was caraying. making a pit stop back to the city i decided to con him at 48, and he turned out to be blue, cooming to this page and finding out he was only 38, i was like this guy is mine. You might be able to inflict damage on him like a 38 but he fights like a 50, he took out my pet in like 2 seconds with harm touch and he hit for about 90 to 120, even when i was running for my life he harmed touched me again. Word of advice if you want to fight this guy get a group of 44 pluses.
