At least as of the last couple days, Razorfang in Sunderock is snareable with Embracing Darkness. I've snared him successfully the last 5 times I've killed him.
Trio'd this mob with 63 shm, 62 sk (about 11k hps), 62 mag. He was not a problem at all. Died faster than most of the other snakes. He is slowable. Dropped the sword for us 2 times and sleeves once.
Don't see where anyone has posted on this in awhile. Razorfang is Not a common spawn. Have camped the spot 4 hours today and no pop. have been keeping the area clear of snakes and chimeras. The chimeras for xp for the level 66 ranger and 67 wiz. The snakes to vent frustration. This is not the first time we've camped him but is the longest
Max hit 832 on a 1900 ac knight and with only 40% accuracy he still churned out 371dps during a 1:41 fight so yeah he hits FAST. If he has the sword, and he always has the head and either sword/shoulders, it will be equipped and can proc. About 26k hitpoints. Not particularly resistant and can pop in any egg-tender spot.
So snakes lost the ability to kick but gained the capacity to weild swords. Long live Snake-Fu!
