I've just killed this for the second time on my 53 Bard (nerf bards). First time he dropped the mask, and the aug the second time. He was yellow to me, if that's helps in trying to work out the level range.

They pop at the bottom of the first ramp. Among the common bears . pumas and snakes. Spids pop in the cave nearby.

Confirmed, Crystalized Griffin Eye dropped for me a few minutes ago off of this mob. Wonderful aug and an easy kite, if a bit long. = )

How far into the roost is this mob? Been as far as Captain Slarus, and not seen on track.

Any and all mobs on the very first ledge (the zone-in ledge), have named mobs that can pop from them.

a mountain snake/a poisonous mountain snake - an injured mountain snake
a mountain puma/a cunning mountain puma - a healthy mountain puma
a mountain bear/a vicious mountain bear - a hungry mountain bear
a mountain recluse/a large mountain recluse - a hungry spider/a hungry mountain recluse

Hope this helps.
