74 rogue 12.7K hp 2162 AC J1 healer merc, dropped him pretty quick no issues had 3 of the quest items.

Killed Steam Lord Roil 3 times today he seems to always drop 3 Roil's Seething Ember. He did cast Roil's Scalding Steam also only once did he cast a blind and a root of the 3 times we killed him.

He summons
Upper elementals camp near the mage spells vendor in Sunderock Springs is where we set up camp. When Steam Lord Roil spawned, our warrior pulled him across the empty lands we had cleared and had two drakes spawn as he passed with the steam lord after him. Enchantress mezzed the drakes and we took out the lord and then the drakes.
No one here has mentioned that the steam lord casts an area effect that can take level 70 plus personae down to half health when first attacking. Casts Roil's Scalding Steam??? Luckily our cleric (me) remembered the group heal was loaded and had mana enough to cast it.

He is marked on my map, but he wanders around the steamy springs around +2346, -190 (up the ramp).

he's for the quest called "The Golgarun Springs" which is the 3rd quest from Anaglass in Sunderock.

Flurries, max hit me (75 Shaman, just 1800ac, w/maxed def AA) for max of 916. Quick hitter, but after slow I could tank with new Shammy HoT going. Boxed Rogue and I got him to 43%hp before slow wore off and he spanked me.
