as a hint for any wizards wanting to kite these, the best way ive found to deal with the clone adds is to kite these oozes at full speed (they run just slower than run 5 so will be hot on your tail) and use insta-clicky nukes, clones despawn before the original ooze dies so just ignore them.
Playing with 2x 71 war, 71 dru, 70 cler, 70 mage, & 61 bst- we could get the clones down by 50% fairly regularly, but then they poofed. They ate the beast and druid sometimes too. Rotten mobs......
I was fighting on of these and around 50% health it spawned 'a unstable ooze clone' that was a light blue con. I switched to bash the clone and around 75-80% health it despawned.
I was fighting one of these and around 50% it cloned a light blue add, named something like an unstable ooze clone (will update as it happens again). I started beating on the clone, and after about 20% damage it despawned.
