But is the a faction hit for killing and the mobs he spaws.. realy want to get the gear quest there and dont want to mess that up .. if u know please tell me.
The adds will stay at the spawn point if you are far enough away. He spawned 4 steam elementals while I was fighting him and none attacked our group. This was done by pulling him out of the front gates to the edge of the pit (a bit southwest of the gates). After the fight the group was getting flickering OoC timers, so we camped out, but no lasting problems.
Just wanted to confirm that yes, you can still fight him without the adds if you're careful.
The adds no longer stay at spawn. They come charging straight for the nearest unsuspecting shaman bot, and keel it before you can say "Devs Need To Die!". So, be ready for them... and make sure everyone in group can survive a few 1.5k+ hits, or have a very fast tank ready to tag them.
Pulled him outside the gate to open ground, killed him with 75 Druid + 75 Beastlord duo. Dropped the shield and no powersource bleh.
Zero adds at Yergin. There were eight yellow con steam elementals that spawned in the springs, and they stayed there. I hope the steams despawn; at present they're all spawned on a single point and they see invis. Will make for a quick death on some unsuspecting soul that runs through the springs heh.
