Fabled Icetooth's ClawsI was levelling my enchanter at the Kodiak caves today, when this mob popped, and spoiled my fun. Not much a level 37 chanter can do against the Fabled Icetooth.
I decided upon revenge immediately, and logged on my 62 bard, with healer merc. All my gear is defiant, no epic, 6.5khp, merc buffed. I've got a few AA in mitigation and avoidance. I twisted haste, overhaste and the extra overhaste to get to 225%, (this mix also has ATK, rune and AC). Used deftdance. The merc healer didn't let me get below 85%. It was a fairly steady fight, which took a good few minutes. My DPS with that twist is usually in the region of 80-100.
Mostly Icetooth couldn't hit me, but when he did it was big (well, for the Great Divide anyway, mostly 350, some 500). The fight was so long that 2 of the adds got killed by riposte damage, which amused me. Merc had plenty of mana at the end, so no real excitement. But I wouldn't want to try this solo, the chant kite would take forever. I tried slowing with Largo's, but the mob wouldn't have it. The message was "resisted" rather than "immune".
Dropped both types of claw.

As a 57 ranger this Fabled mob conned light blue and hit very, very, hard. I'm going to play that down to me being a ranger, but in the time it took him to get me down to 35% i had him down to 99% maybe 98%? and i have my epics so my weapons are not that bad (1hs skill is maxed also, so my skill isn't sub-par). This guy just has a TON of hit points! Just like his non-fabled buddy i killed in the next cave over.
It took me a while to kill his friend, but his friend couldn't hardly scratch me (gray con, but TONS of hps). The only difference is... this guy can scratch! But it's really more like a deep gouging of the tors- AUGGHHHH!

As with all fabled (as far as i know) they CANNOT be rooted or snared .... so usual kiting is a no go ... and this one amongst others also summons if you try to run it around .... im a 62 druid and with him and his green helpers i was soon halfling toast ... dont underestimate the fabled
The one most notable thing I can remember about Icetooth is that he had a ton of HP and/or regen. I used to root him with a 65 Druid and DoT him to death.. it would typically be a 10-20 min process (memory isn't exact). If Fabled's are in rememberence of the past, it'd make sense that this one should have a ton of HP! Also hit pretty well for his level (not that it mattered overly much when he was Rooted and Snared).
