The fabled mobs in NToV have the same large loot tables as the regular version + its requisite fabled item. In spite of often listing much less in their drop tables. -Maybe Allah can change that.
So farming the fabled version of this for Abashi's Rod of Disempowerment isn't going to drop it any faster.
I hadn't thought much about the large loot table with other fabled mobs since Temple of Veeshan (and a maybe Vex Thal), raid mobs have very large loot tables, but the vast majority of fabled mobs have very small loot tables.

The Fabled Vulak`Aerr in 756sec
Total--- DMG: 3405187 (100%) @ 4504 dps (4504 sdps)
Aprox. 3,405,187 Hps. Most like around the 3.5 million Hps.
DPS. 4504 dps
Easy fight. If not the most easiest of the zone. Bard and Ranger combo, but could have easily "merc'd" it.

anyone seen him yet? we went there and all others were up and he wasnt and no other guild had been there yet =( He not spawning????
this mob (normal version and fabled) are key on zek because of dispell weps. As of 2007 fabled season, Vular Aerr is a ring event.

You have to do an event to spawn Vulak. Clearly you missed the days when EQ was still fun.

actually, when velious first came out, Vulak wasnt a ring event. Soon thereafter, it was turned into a ring event. BUT, fast-forward to today. The patch message stated that Vulak is no long a ring event and will remain a non-ring event even after the fabled are gone after this year's celebration. Umkay??
