-- is a very rare drop from Sharlash (and probably any of the other Arcstone x'thborn). Sharlash has about 210k HP, did about 150 dps, and does not Enrage, Thunderstone has approx 115k HP and does Enrage, and did about 50 dps.
Thunderstone does not spawn immediately when Sharlash does, so if you have very good DPS, it's possible to kill him before his pet turns up.
The respawn timer appears to be about 45 minutes.

Tried him 3x now .. 70Pal, 70Mnk, 70BST, 70ROG, 70CLR (bot), 64BST (gimpbot). later repped rogue + gimp BST for 70CLR+70SHM.
MT Pal was 14k, 2650 15% shield.
Popped infusion, resisted most AEs, disease-based DoT landed thru infusion. Monk tanked pet, I tanked Ninthborn (later tried it other way around). Had DPS on pet, saved discs for named. Pet had alot of hp, took ~2min to get it to 50% (rogue w/1100+ AAs, Tacvi tier weaps, Monk w/Shyra claw, Bsts kinda low dps..). Wiped when I missed a CH, while spothealin rogue (who also got AE'd thru Infusion). Got named to 95% while only pally was on it.
Think Sharlash has much lower HPs than pet. Other 2 tries also failed. Pet procs FD, which monk couldnt regain agro from. Later I MT'd the pet, for snap agro, and still couldnt regain it at times, while it owned other groupies.
Average hit of 754 from Sharlash, max 1400-ish. Pet hit somewhat lower. Couldnt slow pet. Named was BST-slowed np. Neither were rly hard hitters.Gonna try again sometime, with all DPS to named, and see how it goes :) Should be np for 2 tank group ~Qvic/DoD geared w/cleric + shammy. Controlling the pet seems to be the challenge.

This fight is really really gimp. My monk is 16k buffed, 2.3k ac. All i did was had a necro kite named, I duoed the pet first easily with a shammy, then we just beat down named. Even a group of all 70s Qvic geared should be able to take this easily just have someone kite the named until you kill the pet. Oh, and the pet has a single target FD, but thats alright when the pet is slowed its not gonna hurt you that badly by the time the tank gets aggro again.

Groupable easily, although I didnt try the charm idea being that I didn't have an ench, will have to do that. Did it with my 3 boxed toons 2.0 sham and monk and paladin + a warrior from my guild. We dropped them both as the pally tanked thunderstone and war tanked sharlash. Took about 10 minutes to kill them both. Thunderstone has a crappy FD proc and an invert gravity type ground smashing proc~

There must have been a change to this encounter for the rock pet Thunderstone can NOT be charmed. Found this out the hard way.
Drops a Cloak too, really decent stats. Will provide a picture and link asap.

Group conseisted of War (15k), Cler, druid,druid, Enc, Mag. Mag pet tank Thunderstone one Druid Heal pet. Beat down Sharlash the Ninthborn then Beat down Thunderstone. long fight since no real DPS (he was busy keeping Thunderstone busy).

Charm thunderstone, have him beat down sharlash, then kil thunder. 4 minute encounter. Thunder does not like to stay charmed so make sure he's snared. The only snare that sticks is druid/ranger earthen embrace.

Group of 6 cleric druid shammy chanter monk war. Mob was unmezzable , thunderstone comes with him as add , he was also unmezzable. malo landed slow was resisted , cast balance and turgur's both resisted , mob was also tashed. tank was 15k 900 aa's went down fast . 3 ae's stun slow and a FD . we got mob to 95% before wipe. He is a little undercon .
