As usual, another NPC with broken dialogue, but not totally broken so it is manageable. Saying anything but the key words will give you this response:
Princess Lenya Thex says, 'My brother, Prince Tylin Thex, is quite a nobleman. He loves to live the adventurous life. I hear he has gone off ghost hunting in some place called the Estate of Unrest.'
However, other than the hail and following bracketed words, she has some other things to say. I just kept blurting out any keyword I could think of. Mentioning her brother would illicit the above response, but she's bugged to respond with that if anything else is said.
You say, 'father'
Princess Lenya Thex says, 'My father is King Tearis Thex, ruler of the great kingdom of Felwithe. All elves bow down to him - even the brash Feir'Dal.'
You say, 'amulet'
Princess Lenya Thex says, 'The Royal Amulet of Thex is meant to grace the necks of all members of the House of Thex. My father and brother are the only others to wear such an amulet.'
You say, 'Teir'Dal'
Princess Lenya Thex says, 'Teir'Dal is the elven name for dark elves. A wicked race. I am sure they are not of true elven blood.'
Attack and death text, dropped junk loot (poison and research ingredients) and no coin:
Princess Lenya Thex says, 'How dare you attack a member of the royal family of Felwithe!'
Princess Lenya Thex says, 'You shall pay dearly for killing a member of the royal family of Thex!'
Faction hit: approximately 500 points to Clerics of Tunare, same as killing the royal fish. 10 stacks of bone chips reverses it.

FYI I finished this quest last night. She spawned when I gave the royal fish the food, started swimming east immediately. I caught up to her underwater and gave items.
Note: I was in wolf form and had enduring breath.
She did not suicide on me, and I left right after getting the amulet, so I do not know where she went afterward. Sorry.

Just a FYI...I did this quest to her on July 1st and she did suicide after feeding the fish food. Took 3 days to get a GM to change her but I got the shield finally. Be careful, she is still buggy
I did this quest only a few days ago, You find the fishfood container on Tyrana Slil in highkeep on the 4th floor, she is behind a picture in a secret room. Make sure she moves away from the guard before you kill her, she conned blue at 39 and was a necromancer but had no pet. To make the fishfood put 3 fairie dust and 1 sands of Ro in the container and combine. The royal fish is NOT a triggered spawn, it is a fixed spawn and does despawn after an amount of time, its spawn time is probably 4-6 hours due to the fact I killed 2 netmasters while camping the royal fish, and their spawn time is 2 hours. Once you give the fish food to the royal fish princess lenya thex spawns just above where the fish was and began to swim to shore, I had heard many horror stories about her despawning as soon as she went to shore so I gave her the bracer from Tearon and the key from Marlin before she reached shore and got the amulet.

i did the same thing my second time, first time i spawned her by the shore and she suicide (got the XXXXXX tries to slash its self but misses text) before i even saw her, so the moral of this storie is..... spawn her in open water, away from land and hail her before she gets to shore

Always spawn with your fish princesses in deep water. Strange moral. ;)

The royal fish will always swim into the alcove at the NW corner of the zone. After you give her the food she will run to the rock in the water by the barbarian camp.

I found her as a "Royal Fish" between the docks of the SK and Mountains zones. She was just offshore from the orc camp, and apparently she's frequently found there!

She is for part of the princess Leyna quest in Highpass Keep. Fish food is: Fish Food Container (dropped by Tylanni in the Keep) + Sands of RO + 3 fairy dusts. End result of quest in Paladin Only shield: Silent Watch Shield AC10 10wis

Anyone know where you get the special fish food you need to give her to make her revert to her natural elfen form?
