This guy isn't a pushover, my paladin is 17khp 3.1kac buffed, and my boxed lvl 64 shaman almost took him down. Had him to about 20% then a pather came through and wiped me. He has alot of hit points, and hits 1k+ most of the time, even after partially slowed and incapacitated. It took potions to help with healing..going to kill him next time
80 sk and 78 ranger guildie pulled him thinking just another mob...wrong.
He tore me up pretty bad but we killed him, leaving us both at like20%hp. Nasty littler bugger.

This guy was was hitting my 2438AC SK for a max of 1545, but only hit me for max a few times. The fact that he hits rather quickly is what did me in.
I'm not sure if he's auto-hasted, or if he can quad or what (That's what it seemed like he was doing to me at times), but one word sums up a botched encounter with this guy: Ow.

Are these guys hard? Killable by a buffed necro pet, getting healed by a druid...without slow on mob.
I was in a group of 4 that had just killed Gloomfang (hits 1850 + Rampage), and we saw this guy on track so we thought he would be an easy kill.
14k Tank went down in about 10 secs :), so don't take him too lightly - he was hitting very fast and quite hard (1500?). I think they are self-buffed with "Swift Limbs", so a dispel on inc would have made it a bit more controllable.

It also drops Greater Shadowspine rune. Camped this mob for a long time hoping for Glowing Shadowspine to drop and no luck so far. Had 6 drops of the Mantle, 2 Greater Runes and 1 of the +4 regen Aug.
