I accidentally killed this mob... I found out he can be mezzed.. and he also drops clockwork pinion gears (very different from clockwork gnome gears)

Seriously, killing quest NPC's is neither cool nor funny. My group just spent 3 hours in the throne room with a very stubborn drop for the scavenger hunt. Finally got done and then we all had to wait for him to respawn because someone killed him. At least it was a relatively short wait (about 20 minutes) but we were all pretty mad.

I don't have track and am having trouble finding him...the zone is a weird shape anyway. Can any1 post the exact location plz?

I killed him for the fun of it today with my lvl 70 ranger. He was white to him. He was rootable, could be snared, and did not summon. It was a very long fight.
Drop Mechanoinstruction Scraps, Saltpeter, and Imprecise Accellrative.
I don't feel bad about killing him becuase I waited to him to respawn and it was 5 mins at the tops.
Also nothing else assisted him and there were no faction hits emoted when he died

Plus the time it took you to kill him... makes for mad peeps if they are doing the quest

This guy is level 70. (atleast the incarnation i ran into)
Was clearing out the good clockworks for the tradeskill items with my level 70 bard. Went over by the quest area with aggro and this guy assisted. Got smacked around a bit so I faded him off.
Went back to him just to play. Started chanting him down. Took about 20 min or so doing roughy 750 a tick in chants. Did not summon and only ran when he got down to approximately 3%.
Dropped a slatpeter and one of the clockwork gnome gears. Not quite the reward I invisioned lol
