Upon giving her four Fairy Dust:

Priestess Ghalea says 'I will need four portions of fairy dust to create the soil of Underfoot.'

You receive 4 gold from Priestess Ghalea.
You receive 1 platinum from Priestess Ghalea.

Receive Soil of Underfoot.

handed in now 168 bone chips,
still faction not moved up enough she still says go do the bone chip quest befor ei speak to you

Ok, Here's what you do to raise faction so as to get the Priestess Ghalea to deal with you:

(This is going with the assumption that you are currently apprehensive to her....)

You need to do the Bone Chip quest for Kaladim. To do the Bone Chip quest, collect stacks of bone chips - at least 12 stacks to start - and head over to Kaladim North. Go to Gunlok Jure inside the Paladin Guild, and proceed to give HIM the bone chips (4 at a time - NOT STACKED!)

From the posts I have read, it seems that people are trying to give the bone chips to the Priestess - DON'T DO THAT! - SHE IS NOT THE RIGHT NPC FOR THE BONE CHIP QUEST!

After you have finished the 12 stacks, go back to Priestess Ghalea, and check to see if you can now deal with her. If not, repeat the Bone Chip quest (but try only 4-6 stacks at this point) and then check with her again after completeing that round of the quest.

It took me 15 stacks to be able to deal with her, might take some players more or less, so I hope this info helps with correcting any confusion the older posts may have...

i handed 14 stacks of bc in to get her deal with me. the soil of underfoot is no drop and lore item. it goes just into inventory and has no stats on it. its only a component for pally armor use.

OK peeps so u got the soil of underfoot .....what is it does it have stats does it go in range slot ...i mean cmon throw me a fricken bone here=)

To be able to do Soil of Underfoot quest you need to be Kindly. 8-9 stacks of Bone Chips will take you from Apprehensive to Kindly.
