i went as lvl 70 necro had to friends in group 80's but they didn't join me just was in group so i could zone in all mobs conned either dark blue or white to me
We're currently trying this mission with a group of three 55's (cleric, sk, bard) and we haven't found Garanel yet but he's yellow, so no higher than 58. Definitely depends on the level of the group, or perhaps the highest level in the group.
We just finished off our first try, and scored a win.
58 Zerker, 56 Mage, 59 Shammy, 65 Cleric broke the place, and cleared all the yard trash, and took out the gazebo mobs, and cleared the round room. Then added in a guildie (60 Warrior) to our mix, and took out a few more in the back of the house. Added another guildie (63 pally), and we pulled our way to the one on the balcony, and then set out for the basement. Cleric Sunskinned us, and we ran all the way to the blood pit, and took out the 2 there. Then just pulled the hall mob, near the ghost, and then pulled the ghost and an add. Was a good fight for us, and we lost the warrior, but got em back in time for the kill shot. Fight took a full 5minutes...maybe 6.
Mobs are definitely scaled to the group. Yard trash was 56-58, and named mobs were yellow and red to a 59.
Good fun place to go if you have several hours to go get away from CAMP CHECK and O.P.T. (other people's trains).

I must say I was very impressed with this instance. I've gone in there twice now. The first time our cleric/SK two boxer got too drunk to keep playing, but he sobered up last night and we completed the place. With our party of 66s (Mage, Chanter, SK, Cleric, Wizard) we tromped our way through to Garanel Rucksif with minimal problems. We were worried he might be nasty, so we had the pet pull it back to give the chanter time to slow before the SK engaged. Totally wasn't necessary. He's really not any harder than a normal mob of his level. No special attacks, doesn't hit too hard, not overly resistant, doesn't enrage, flurry, rampage, or put up too much of a fight on the whole. Takes a while to do the adventure, but most of the loot is very worth the effort. It's nice to see some content that gives good loot that's 1 groupable by non-elemental geared players.

Sounds like trapx is saying, lvl's on mobs varies along with avg lvl in group

Done this place a few times, for the great XP in there. With lvls 66, 68 and 69, all trash mobs are DB to the 66, also the magemob on balcony. Garanel is yellow to 66 and DB to 68, so 67.
A group of 5 with avarage lvl 67.8 had all DB trashmobs.
When the above trio went in again, but at 67, 68 and 69, ie avarege lvl 68, track was all different, some trash mobs were still DB to the lowest, but most were whites, some yellows, some even yellow to the 69. The magemob was now yellow to the 67, and Garanel was red to the 69.
Patch test said this mission is for lvls 55-70, so i bet the Garanel can be like 55-58 as lowest.

im guessing his level varies, he was yellow to me at 66. (average group level was about 67-68
