I had slightly more difficulty with this than I was expecting based on the comments. I wish people who say "soloed it np" would list what they killed it with.

I tried to solo with my 79 Shaman w/830aa's and noob level Merc rogue, I pretty much got chain mezed the whole time. That's not to say that someone with a similar setup to me couldn't solo it. I just didn't have any luck. I'm also dealing with 970-1000ms ping so anytime I'd try to cast a dot or debuff, the lag+cast time was to long to land and mezes would interrupt me. So she wasn't getting hurt and I was slowly dying. You can run from her if you need. She never moved from the spot I originally pulled her to. I just ran, she mezed me once, then the second time I was able to get away. She unagro'd once I got out of cast range. It seemed fluke-ish, so if that doesn't happen for you, this is EQ we're talking about.

As stated in another post, she depopped along with the trigger mob. I camped for awhile to maintain buffs and logged back on later and trigger mob was up.

I brought my 79 Ranger w/830aa's and noob level Cleric merc and she died like a chump.

I kept my Shaman back a bit and she didn't mez him. I was able to cure mezes on my Ranger.

Shaman and Ranger are about 50/50 Fabled Planes gear and vendor bought Elegant/Archaic gear.

Got it with me and my warrior. Trick to this is to make sure you use pure spirit or radiant cure everytime ya get mez'd. Nothing to it, easy encounter. Oh and be generous with the HoT's

The spawning NPC, Undari, was behind a rock. Ikaav popped within eyeshot of NPC. We one grouped with a 71 cleric, 72 shaman, two 75 monks and a 73 ranger. The dot is a 4k a tick dot but can be cured with the shaman spell Blood of Nadox.

No additional loot or chest spawn. Took about 45 seconds to kill her once we engaged. The spot where the NPC is seems to ba a safe spot to buff and get ready.

Just tried this today, used swarm pet aa to pull and the first 2 dogs that hit her were mez'd and killed. After that she killed me since I was alone, but I wasnt mezed and the 3rd dog made it!

Hail Undari Perunea in Kod'taz (located on the way to Yxtta by Gazzak). Loc -208, 75, -419

Spawns Ikaav Spiritstealer. Loc -681, 191, -430, spawn south of Undari.

Ikaav Spiritstealer AE Rampage + Mezz 2 first on aggro list.

Group setup:
70 Rogue - Puten - Anguish
70 Necro - Caishl - Anguish
70 Cleric - Stonehealer - Anguish
70 Shaman - botted - Qvic
70 Bard - botted - Qvic
70 Cleric - botted - Tacvi

Necro pet pull, Necro + Necro pet Mezzed.
Rogue tank ~ max hit 832
Shaman hard time slowing, even after malo + bard HoS.
Cleric needs to be group healing asap, ramp is instant.

All in all, this was fun fight ~ burned mob really quick, just the 2 first people being mezzed is key + group heals.

Loot the Necklace of Perserverence and give it to Lupot Nukla in Fungus Grove.

IS onegroupable at first i was a bit scared when i saw 4k aoe witch is unresistable btw all resists were 575 and didn,t resist once

Get 1 good cleric 9k mana+

only thign that harms peeps is the aoe she hits for 900 max and misses olmoast all ranger tanked allot too and i could heal tank

mez is call of the ikaav / 60 sec mez and can do 2 peeps at once http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.html?id=4666&source=Live

This mob is level 70, not 71. It casts Ikkav's Venom (it's a nasty PB AE) and it mezzes tank but don't know what mez is called.
