This mfer has 29167hp if my parse is correct. I learn that after firing a single arrow at him hoping it would give me a headstart on low level DSing him down... Nope... Wait time! I would post this after I waiting and tell people how long it takes from him to be available again, but that wouldn't go along with all these other comments full of uselessness.
So, he is pretty easy by himself, though as a slap dash defiant equipped 71 ranger with epic 1.5 and an elegant defiant offhand, he was definitely draining my ****** A2 cleric merc's mana bar, especially once I had 2 adds come along. All light blue, but they add up with poor healing. Woulda survived fighting all three with just self heals but gated out instead of messing with it.
I know no one has posted on this guy in awhile easy kill for lvl 71 ranger with out mercs help he was down to 4 percent life before i went below 70 with gall rk II on 13001hp unbuffed 18k buffed ac 2340 with 541aa's. Landed 1 hit of 401 other than that most hits where in the 160 range. Godd luck.
Well I soloed and killed him. No low-health unagro, no messages, he just let me beat him down and kill him. Will try again without damage shield, but can't see that being the problem really.
Update: I came back roughly 3 hours later and he was back again. This time I clicked off all damage shields, and beat him down again. This time he Did become no-agro and I got my piece :).
I'm not convinced the damage shield was really the culprit here, but I just plum can't think of any other possible cause. My advice is attack Siflu normally, but if he accidentally dies, try him again without your damage shield buffs.
just did this..got himto 5% hailed himsaid what adventures, he said heres your lodestone and despawnned.. didnt give me a lodestone... this guy respawn ever 2 hours like more **** mobs?
Same thing happened to me. I realized after petitioning that I never hailed the Wayfarer Officer in Nedaria's Landing prior to engaging Siflu. I went back and did the hail but Siflu wasn't up.
I duo'd him with my shaman and he actually died. From what I am reading and geussing you have to solo this fight no outside dps. Anyone else had this problem
I just got back from taking this guy out-- very easy fight for a 72 ranger with base hp of 9700, raid buffed and AC around 2300. Invoked WS about halfway through the fight, just to play it safe.
He went non agro at 5% (no big surprise there). Spoke my peace and got my lodestone.
You say you killed him eh? Big mistake-- you can't talk to a dead npc.

Just solo'd him....level 72 ranger with base hp of 9700, fully raid buffed, AC around 2250. Piece of cake although I invoked WS about halfway through the fight just to be sure. He went non agro at 5%.

He is quite an easy solo. He's just past the second bridge leading to the Slavedriver Menlo staging area..
I got him to 4% and he respawned non-aggro, got the hail and followed the text. He responded as he should, but he did not give me anything. Has anyone else had a problem with that?
Siflu hits for a max around 600ish, is easy to pull to the bridge near him, and there's only 2 roamers that come close... Duo'd him with a cleric, slowed with Earthcaller, and got him to 10% with little difficulty, he actually got to ~5% before he became hailable...
