Ran's probably lvl 60. 45's dont hit for 300+ even if he is lvl 45 and most trainers aren't lvl 45

Ran Flamespinner is a good person to run to if goblins are chasing you. he'll attack them for 330+ dmg! however, he's a Wizard so he doesn't have that kewl double weild and that sorta crap. he hits hard enough anyways.

Does he drop any thing? pp? items? do any of the guild masters drop any thing aside from the war one in FP for paly SF quest? please tell me!

On the Xev server, abt 12hours before this time of posting, someone gave Ran Flamespinner set of Bronze Legplates, Fine Steel Longswords, Fine steel shortsword, Bronze armplates, bronze gauntlets and boots and i *think* a helm too. Only thing he didn't have was the breastplate...
Heheh it was like UO all over again! lol Ran Flamespinner, TankMage! Grandmaster Swordsman, Armsmaster and Magician(Wizard), and giving him 2 weapons didn't really increase him damage output much... from abt 350avg to 360avg, but with the swords (not sure if he could before without them) he was dual wielding and double attacking and beating the snot out of the cabalists and seers and warriors. I think he quaded a pickclaw warrior and instakilled it for over 1200+dmg... Ran's the man!! Last night after 5~6 trains, there were abt 5 guys medding on top of each other behind him... ROFL!! Some jerk was training the Pickclaws to the banker it seemed...

Level 45? No. Level 65, actually. All guildmasters are the same levels as dragons. They hit for 300+ and have 32000hp.

Hes definetly a Wiz Trainer thats for sure. How do I know? Simple, I'm a wiz and I trained with him last night (10 pts into 1hb, I really suck at it hehe).
He hits twice for around 340 - 360 dmg each. Hes probably around lvl 55 - 60 + (like most guild leaders).

I agree he is probably around lv 55-60 as he hits for almost the same amount of dmg as a regular guild trainer and the Priest of Discord.

He's not involved at all in the Testament of Vanear quest, it's just that "somebody" is retarded and Ran Flamespinner doesn't hit for 700 damage 5 time in a row

as a lvl 23 rngr i made the mistake of walking int a group of 3 picklaw warriors they all aggroed me. i was lost & just ran...Ran to Ran this guy hit tor 300 double not once not twice but 4 times in a row. Yes I lived he rocks. got to be at least lvl 50. Love ran like to see somene try to take him down. lol

He is mentioned by the guy in Qeynos for the ToV quest. No he is not a necessary part. The Qeynos guy just says he sold the pages to him. FYI he is a Wizard guildmaster and is red at 47. That's why he's a badass. Ran's the man.

How would my character inflict this much damage with his bare hands? He hits for 5 times what I do with a weapon.

This guy hits for 300-400 and quads i seriousley doubt he is 45. dont belive me i always run to him when in trouble because the other guards always end up getting me killed not this guy go up there and ur safe for sure

I agree I use the same tactics i hunt at Highpass Keep lots and I always run to him for help

He actually is related in a way. The Moodorn guy in NQeynos tells you he sold the pages to Ran. If you say something to Ranabout the pages he says they were stolen. Although, everyone knows Dyllin Starsine has the page so he is now useless at the moment for this quest
